It’s a stupid analogy.

If I voted Labour, there would be some parts of their manifesto that would benefit me. Same for Conservatives and Lib Dems.

There are also things from each of the main parties that wouldn’t benefit me.

So AIBU to think I’ll vote for who the fuck I like?

And merry Christmas.

Changes in share ownership do impact on share price! It depends on how much someone is prepared to pay for a share. That's why share prices go up and down!!

So if there's a rumour that eg Labour was going to renationalise GlaxoSmithkline, investors would sell their shares for whatever price they could get for them and the share price would go down.

If my pension has 100 shares valued at eg £100 each in a company then that pot is worth £100, 000. On retirement I go into drawdown and get about £5000 a year.

If the share price goes down to £90 my pot is now only worth £90,000 so I now get only £4, 500 a year.

YANBU to be fed up with it.

Vote for who you feel will do the best job for the country.

Your vote, your choice.

However if you’re like the man on TV the other day picking up parcels of food from a food bank to take back to cockroach infested temporary accommodation while saying “I’m voting for Boris” (yes REALLY) then indeed I might think you’re a bit mad.
