It seems like the stories about the old silver fox are ramping up. Feel like there's more mileage in this one that we know...

He's so up his own arse it's unreal. I can't watch when it's him and Holly. They are so rude to their guests with their in jokes and inane giggling. They had to apologise the other week after giggling over children.

FaithInfinity · 07/12/2019 16:51

I’ve shared my story about him before but I’ll share it again.

I went to London for a special event when I was 10. Only 8 Children invited. Met a member of the Royal family and PS was there. We asked to meet him, this was in his broom cupboard days so great excitement. He refused to meet us but agreed to sign autographs for us all. I don’t know his reason but the fact that he refused to spend five minutes out of his day to meet some children who were big fans spoke volumes.

Mumberjack · 07/12/2019 16:57

@FaithInfinity always thought Gordon the Gopher was the better half of that partnership

dreamerofdreams27 · 07/12/2019 17:01

I don't dislike him with the venom of some posters here but I do find the whole 'oh look at me hungover at work again aren't I funny' charade rather tedious. Also the way him and Holly holiday together - they kind of make you feel like they are some superior in crowd

Notodontidae · 07/12/2019 17:12

Strange how somebody not very well liked is on so many TV shows, getting bags full of cash from the lambs sitting at home watching him. TBH, I never liked the silver fox either, but it must have been us that put him on the pedestal he now howls from.

user764329056 · 07/12/2019 17:16

Can’t bear the Schofield-Willoughby duo, they should both be sidelined for other far more intelligent presenters who are not ruled by their ego

Hereyougosandwiches · 07/12/2019 17:17

He's always been awful. Dude gives me the creeps.

chrisski33 · 07/12/2019 17:20

I liked Phil & Fern. Then PS was just EVERYWHERE, same with Holly who I can't bear. It just makes me think of everyone with dreams of being a TV presenter, they have no chance of making it big until these two retire... oh and Ant & Dec and Dermot O leary. Just TOO MUCH and there's probably some incredible wannabe presenters out there.

Poppet1974 · 07/12/2019 17:41

Bring back Fern or the lovely Richard and Judy 🤗🤗

Wendyasbury · 07/12/2019 17:53

Oh dear God please not that awful Richard Madely Shock

EpicShitDippedBatBiscuit · 07/12/2019 17:56

What a disgraceful thread.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 07/12/2019 17:57

I read that Richard and Judy were taking back over TM. Unless I dreamt it.
I always found them a bit kinky to be honest. I’m no prude but All I ever remember them talking about was sex.

Evilmorty · 07/12/2019 17:57

FaithInfinity I am feeling kind of lucky that he did meet me as a child then, he spoke with us, signed autographs, had photos taken. I can’t say the circumstances as it is outing but he worked with a member of my family (not famous) so maybe that was the difference. Trying to be good to people on the way up kind of thing.

What exactly is the allegation? Bullying?

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 07/12/2019 17:57

What a disgraceful thread.

Is that you, Phil.

Straycatstrut · 07/12/2019 18:00

Grin Grin

EpicShitDippedBatBiscuit · 07/12/2019 18:01

No, of course I’m not bloody Phil, but people speculating on his private life and other rumours that have largely been denied outright? Just because he did an interview with a politician that people were unhappy about? C’mon.

ManonBlackbeak · 07/12/2019 18:01

Richard and Judy stood in for Holly and Phil over half term. Was a breath of fresh air seeing them back, they are both proper journalists (as I think are Ruth and Eamonn) and it really shows in the way they interview people.

Looobyloo · 07/12/2019 18:05

I'd like to see ruth and Eamonn take over full time.
I like Judy but Richard's a bit lot of a pratt.

ManonBlackbeak · 07/12/2019 18:08

Its nothing to do with his Corbyn interview Epic.Though if we must go there, clearly he's learned nothing of his disasterous interview with David Cameron during Operation Yewtree. Jeremy Paxman he ain't.

Aderyn19 · 07/12/2019 18:10

Phillip and Holly seem to forget that they are there to entertain us and not each other.
Really liked Fern. Wish she would come back. And Ruth is fab too. She seems very kind and relatable. Holly would be better without PS - all the in jokes just alienate viewers.
Rylan and Alison are brilliant. I don't warm to Amanda Holden but one presenter shouldn't have the power to deny another presenter work.

EpicShitDippedBatBiscuit · 07/12/2019 18:11

“Its nothing to do with his Corbyn interview Epic.Though if we must go there, clearly he's learned nothing of his disasterous interview with David Cameron during Operation Yewtree. Jeremy Paxman he ain't.”

Whatever the reason, damaging and personal speculation about his private life. Is just grim and really low.

SnorkMaiden81 · 07/12/2019 18:16

I've nothing against his sexuality.

I've everything against his being a twat.
