When this thread was started what were the rumours about him? I'd heard he can be a dick but no real descriptions of what constitutes being a dick!

I was disappointed with the reference to him on The Last Leg on Friday being all about how great it was. Given they must have heard "other stuff" by Friday night you'd think they would have steered clear.

The original rumours were quite vague, allegations of him being a bit of a bully, high handed, getting above himself etc. He was probably under a lot of (self inflicted) stress which he was trying to mask by being a thundercunt

@NewAgain123, I feel for you. When I was 36, I discovered that my high school boyfriend had come out as gay. I was so young when I was with him, 17-19 on and off, and yet it STILL OCCUPIED MY THOUGHTS for such a long time when I found out.

I cannot imagine finding that out while still in the relationship. Awful. For the woman who is being duped it's awful. Nobody has to be in a relationship. People can be single.

That guy, he left me through my 20s with a bizarre sense that if a man had sex with me he was doing it for me, not for him or WITH me. I couldn't have articulated that precisely but it did leave a scar of some shape.

You have ALL of my sympathies. I was with that guy a brief time and it still left me confused.

Rumours of another site that his wife has had a boyfriend for last 7 years....would not be surprised, would be happy for her.

It's likely she thought she had a "real" marriage but in latter years found out or was told by PS that he was gay. She probably cares about him very much, they had kids, a great life, and he had a career which was firmly rooted in being a family man. His wife has been in a few of his shows recently consolidating that image.

But if there are any grooming rumours that were substantiated, surely that would be a step too far for any woman.

Surely she must have known. If, as Joan Collins said, "everybody already knew, WE all knew, " then I can't see how his wife couldn't have heard. Quite apart from living with the guy for 27+ years, whereby she would know him inside and out.
