Apparently they are 'ill-raised, ignorant and aggressive' because I am a single parent.

All I can say is I am extremely proud of them for overcoming my apparent short comings as a parent and achieving so much despite it.

As it happens I won't be voting Labour but nice try.

StealthPolarBear · 28/11/2019 21:02

And yet people will vote for him in millions. A man who holds us little people in so much contempt. A man who doesn't have a fucking clue but is also power mad. A lying little cowardly weasel.
I'm sure he has some good points too. He probably wears lovely socks.

Bluntness100 · 28/11/2019 21:03

Blimey having to dig deep now. 🤣

Anyone else noticed the sheer abundance of odd fanatical labour posts on this site recently? Anyone would think there was some form of orchestrated underhand social media campaign to try to get some votes.

HeyThereDelilah1 · 28/11/2019 21:04

He’s disgusting. My ill-raised, ignorant and aggressive husband raised by an amazing single mum breaks his back working in Johnson’s crumbling NHS hospital saving people’s lives.

churchandstate · 28/11/2019 21:05

Nobody who ever made comments like that should be PM. Let alone one who made comments like that and then went on to father at least one illegitimate child.

Mummyoflittledragon · 28/11/2019 21:05

I cannot believe this creature is ahead in the polls. Vile vile. He isn’t fit to clean our boots.

HeyThereDelilah1 · 28/11/2019 21:05

And we’re supposed to believe that Johnson cares about public services for chikdren

SmileEachDay · 28/11/2019 21:06

Blimey having to dig deep now

Is it though?

That’s a pretty ill informed opinion he held - and it’s not as though he was a kid when he thought that. I think values are important - although tbh I have no idea who I align with at the moment!

Candymay · 28/11/2019 21:09

Awful and takes me back to the 80s when I was a single parent and extremely poor and felt like the scum of the earth because of Tory rhetoric. I remember people referring to me as ‘one of those single parents’ because of the headlines at the time. I remember the shame. Despite this I have raised one extremely successful child -now an adult - and am raising more children who are a gift to society. I am still single - not on benefits if that matters- and I still have low self esteem but I’ve paid my way and my children will be benefitting society.

macaroniandpizza · 28/11/2019 21:10

Boris johnson is an absolute fucking arsehole and should be ashamed of himself so much for these comments and all the other disgusting ones hes made. Im a single parent to my ds and he is a very polite, helpful and kind wee boy. Just because a child doesnt have 2 parents it doesnt make them some sort of savage beast ffs

Stooshie8 · 28/11/2019 21:10

Blooming heck - people are getting a bit hysterical imv.

TeenPlusTwenties · 28/11/2019 21:11

25 years ago? Were your children even born then?

If the description doesn't fit he can't have been referring to them.

Petrichor11 · 28/11/2019 21:11

I really hope Boris’s hugely privileged parents are ashamed of him

spacepyramid · 28/11/2019 21:12

25 years ago? Were your children even born then?

One of them, yes.

OP posts:
Newbie1981 · 28/11/2019 21:13

When did he say this? Dubious

Kirigiri · 28/11/2019 21:14

@Stooshie8 doesn’t take much effort

Whattodoabout · 28/11/2019 21:14

At least you know how many children you have.
Grin.

Hasn’t BJ made a few women single parents?

raskolnikova · 28/11/2019 21:15

I think people have a right to know that the actual Prime Minister of the country holds these views. I'm a single mother, it's good to know where I stand.

I can't imagine that he thinks differently now, but I still think he'll probably win. I imagine a lot of people who want to 'get Brexit done' probably agree with those statements anyway.

25 years ago? Were your children even born then?

Nope. But I was being raised by a single parent.

Supersimkin2 · 28/11/2019 21:16

BJ's right about the social disaster that is deadbeat daddery. Ewww.

Farontothemaddingcrowd · 28/11/2019 21:17

I was raised by a penniless single parent, but I managed to go to the same university as Boris. Must've missed the memo.

june2007 · 28/11/2019 21:17

Petrichor11 for what I hear there very proud of him. And I would be to if my child got to be pm. I suggest those that don,t like him make sure you all vote.

KaliforniaDreamz · 28/11/2019 21:20

¶Blimey having to dig deep now. 🤣•
But we really aren't having to dig deep are we, he is so obviously horrific. He spells it out for us all the time. Phonetically, sometimes.

churchandstate · 28/11/2019 21:21

It doesn’t matter whether our children were born or not. If these comments were made, they represent him as a person. Awful.
