I thought it was a fabulous programme.

I enjoyed it, it was lovely to see people who wouldn’t be alive if it hadn’t been for her grand parents bravery, and the other actors stories featured over the series look very interesting and moving.
We should never forget the fear and horror that people faced during World War Two, especially as this year marks 80 years since it began and it’s right that we learn about individuals who made a huge difference, whoever their descendants are.

And there is another incredible story on BBC One at the moment, very sad, a remarkable man who is the oldest survivor of the camps.
