Was worried I'd see a name I knew and liked, being proud of voting Conservative.

But I seen no one!

The relief!!!

@Chuchyduck I kid you not. And hand on my heart I've been agonising over the past few days over who to vote for. My thinking being which one of these morons is going to screw up the least.

Now because of this idiot and the rest of the pig headed posters I'm going to vote Tory because i want to do anything not to be associated with them.

birdsdestiny · 26/11/2019 11:01

I dont vote Tory but to be honest it would be very easy for me to say people who support the lib dems are creepy misogynists - want to legalise prostitution, fought hard not to have age verification for porn, history of ignoring serious abuse within their party. I could say that people who vote labour are anti semitic, misogynists - hounding jewish mostly female mps, leading labour activist trying to hound a black lesbian from her job because she set up a gay and lesbian organisation, promoting people within the party who have very serious allegations made against them. It's not pretty is it. So should I be your friend op if you support one of those parties.

Lockshunkugel · 26/11/2019 11:03

Peace and love to you, @ssd. We are so lucky to live in a country that has freedom of speech.

I’m still going out campaigning for the Conservatives today!

birdsdestiny · 26/11/2019 11:05

Obviously I wouldn't say those things about all people who vote labour or lib dems because I am not 12.

Abraid2 · 26/11/2019 11:07

I'm not voting Tory in the election but this is a useful thread for me as I can see who the sanctimonious of MN are and avoid them in the future.

Provincialbelle · 26/11/2019 11:09

The best description of Johnson v Corbyn I’ve read yet is “choosing between the evil of two lessers”

nibdedibble · 26/11/2019 11:13

Bits of this thread are like my mum telling me she feels like lighting up a fag whenever people tell her smoking is bad for her.

As in, I don't think that's quite the victory you think it is Grin

Woofbloodywoof · 26/11/2019 11:18

People like you make me want to vote Tory even though I never ever have. But honestly. How old are you that you can’t be friends with people who hold different political views?! Jesus. It’s this level of infantile reasoning writ large in parliament which is why we’re in this bloody mess.

bellinisurge · 26/11/2019 11:31

Nailed it @Provincialbelle Grin

The80sweregreat · 26/11/2019 11:34

I have friends and family across the whole political divide. It can be done.

Bluntness100 · 26/11/2019 11:39

I don't really understand, are you talking about people you know in real life who use this site or are you imagining in your head you actually "know" anonymous posters by their on line persona? Confused

Aquilla · 26/11/2019 11:41

If Labour wins, will the people on the List be sent to a gulag somewhere?

Sagradafamiliar · 26/11/2019 11:43

Grin yanbu

Alsohuman · 26/11/2019 11:45

Well done. By the look of it you’re the Tory recruitment sergeant of MN.

Provincialbelle · 26/11/2019 11:45

Reminds me also of the wartime German list of people to be executed when Germany conquered Britain. They included Rebecca West, Noel Coward and the cartoonist David Low. When the list was published in Britain Low said “that’s alright, I had them on my list too.” West wrote to Noel C: “my dear - the people we should have been seen dead with!”

EpicShitDippedBatBiscuit · 26/11/2019 11:53

😂😂😂

Am so relieved after reading the 'Who votes Conservative?" thread that no one I like is on it?
Justanotherlurker · 26/11/2019 11:56

This is next level tier "I have never met a Tory."

On an anonymous forum, one with open name changing to top it off.

I keep thinking we hit peak MN but it always goes above it somehow.

PBo83 · 26/11/2019 12:17

Phew, it must be such a relief that some anonymous people don't disagree with your political views. Can you imagine such a ghastly thing as a world in which people may have different beliefs and priorities but still maintain a friendship...terrifying!

bellinisurge · 26/11/2019 12:32

What a dreadful example to set kids. You might as well be a clique-y mean girl. "We don't talk to those people, we might catch something ".
And yes I do judge people a bit in real life. But then I get on with living and hope they do too.

RosiePosiePuddle · 26/11/2019 15:22

I was thinking about voting green this time, but i’m definitely voting conservative now. thanks so much for helping me make my mind up, I’m so relieved.

Shouldn't the track record of the Tories be used as a reason to vote for them? Instead of your reaction to what someone says on an internet forum.

Saddler · 26/11/2019 15:24

I wouldn't associate with you don't worry

PanGalaticGargleBlaster · 26/11/2019 15:29

I keep thinking we hit peak MN but it always goes above it somehow.

Like Sisyphus pushing the boulder up the hill you will never reach the peak. Whenever you think you are there the clouds will clear and you will have to pop your crampons back on and limber up for the assault on the newly revealed face.

MaxNormal · 26/11/2019 15:40

I agree with you ssd and you've hit some nerve here Grin
Not content to wanking over Johnson on their thread, they're over here furious at you having an opinion.

bellinisurge · 26/11/2019 15:44

It's almost as if .... as if... no, it can't be, surely..... people who don't like being pigeonholed? No, it can't be.

midnightmisssuki · 26/11/2019 16:00

You must think you’re so important that people care about you feeling happy that online personas you like are are not voting conservatives?! 🤷🏻‍♀️😂
