To wear jeans to a christening?

I am breastfeeding so can’t wear any of my usual dresses. Can I wear black jeans and a smart ish jumper?

Jean's are fine. Just match with smart shoes or boots and top.

I wouldn't but I wouldn't judge anyone who did. The main thing is you went to show love and support to the child and family at a very special occasion in their lives, not what you wore.
