I agree with you, though. I am deeply distrustful of slebs who love everyone and think everything is lovely. You wonder if they have any discernment or critical facility. Or have such things but not the bravery to speak, for fear that their fans may no longer love them.

I used to think George Clarke was good looking but not now, i think his head must have got more balloony as he's got older.

I can't stand GC, but in his defence, he is from the NE, as am I, and most of us use flat vowel-sounds in bath, fast, last etc, but also pronounce master and plaster with a long vowel-sound, ie 'mah-ster', 'plah-ster'so he isn't trying to 'put on a posh accent'.

My DH thinks I have a thing for George. I don’t. If I buy DH an item of clothing he always asks, with a curled lip, ‘Is this a George-style jacket/top/whatever?’ He think I’m trying to dress him like GC. I’m not. I’m just trying to get him to wear clothes without holes in.

@daisypond I think a lot of these had they done it themselves would have just got a big standard design that wouldn't be likely to go over by a few hundred thousand. Also it seems to me that they must get some pressure to actually go ahead with it (or there wouldn't be a show!) even if the architect has designed something patently never going to be even partially in budget!

When he speaks it sounds like he has a half swallowed sandwich in his throat. He wears Gary Newman-esque jackets as well. For these reasons, I can’t watch anything he’s on.
