OP that's awful, I've had that years ago, i was so ill. I couldn't keep water down then after a while just water. Then I caught another d&v, twice in a month, over Christmas. I lost loads of weight though!

had the flu badly once got fed up when sneezing and vomiting keep having to change bed and my nightie so in the end sat on a pile of bath sheets

@Dieu I have one - he's 21 but he was tiny (2.5kg) & c-section. 🥴

Always had a weak bladder ever since childhood. Never wear trousers when going out as it is easier to hide an accident when wearing a skirt. Clean knickers and tights are a staple in my bag. Thankfully never pooed and vomited at the same time, I hope you feel better soon. I think the winter flu bug has arrived very early.

Op, hope you get better soon. For anyone else with pelvic floor weakness, DO NOT ACCEPT THIS IS NORMAL. This can be improved with exercise, at any age - get a reference to a physio.

My Pilates teacher is a trained physio and we also do some of these exercise in our classes. They aren’t hard.

I've got a really bad cough at the moment which only seems to subsite after I've thrown up a couple of times. The other day, I was so fed up with coughing, I actually made myself sick to stop it. Worked :)

I’ve done that twice. Both times in hospital and both times it seemed to be pints and pints of it. God. I’m only 40.

Ugh the same thing happened to me over Christmas, full house had it and I caught it right in the throws of festive fun. To be fair after two kids I daren't take a chance and always sit on the loo with a basin lol

Pelvic floor exercises

Yup....been there. Also sneezed, had coughing fits as well. I'd say be happy you didn't have diarrhea.

I also have suffered with my pelvic floor but could never do the exercises consistently enough to make a difference. I bought a machine to do them for me and within two weeks it made a huge difference.

I can't remember the brand I bought, but if you Google pelvic floor toner you will find a range of them. The one I bought was at the cheaper end of the range and worked great!
