Okay... so I know its not ideal and it’s not something I do often, but it happened!!!

Is this something anyone else does on occasion or AIBU to overindulge to that extent?

Happens to the best of us 🤣

Blingismything · 17/11/2019 17:23

Whole nut would have been better.

Dancer12345 · 17/11/2019 17:23

You’re not alone!

goodwinter · 17/11/2019 17:23

I do this sort of thing sometimes, but I used to be bulimic and still have an issue with binge eating, so for me it's not a healthy thing at all. As a very occasional indulgence though, if you have an otherwise healthy diet, it won't do you any harm. It's what, about 1000 calories? No worse than a takeaway.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 17/11/2019 17:24

I once at a whole double layer box of milk tray in one go

Mammajay · 17/11/2019 17:24

Sounds blissful!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 17/11/2019 17:24

I believe this is called a snackcident - where you accidentally eat a big bar of chocolate! As @fruitypancake says, it happens to the best of us!

Thehagonthehill · 17/11/2019 17:27

In my 20 Sunday was a pile of news papers, lots of fresh coffee and a large bar of galaxy.I was very slim.
Somewhere in my early 49s I went off chocolate and got fat.
This must mean that regularly eating large amounts of chocolate is slimming.
If you get fat it is the palm oil, you're not really enjoying it or not enough chocolate.

Thunderpunt · 17/11/2019 17:27

YABU not to share half with me

Thehagonthehill · 17/11/2019 17:28

I also ate a large box of maltesers the first time I watched Love Story.I didn't cry, even when I found they were all gone.

SaggySadSack · 17/11/2019 17:29

Sainsburys do a dark chocolate fruit and nut - it WNBU to eat all that in one go SmileGrin

happinessischocolate · 17/11/2019 17:29

I do it all the time...hence my user name 😂

Eckhart · 17/11/2019 17:30

I've done this. And I've still never reached my Toblerone limit, despite consuming some of the larger bars...

OhWellThatsJustGreat · 17/11/2019 17:31

Only unreasonable if it wasn't out of the fridge and dipped in a big mug of tea.

I once ate an entire double packet of chocolate chip cookies in one sitting. while pregnant with dc1.

ConFusion360 · 17/11/2019 17:36

My DH does this.

He goes months without eating chocolate at all, then all of a sudden he gets the urge to scoff a whole 200g bar in one go. Then he won't eat any more for several months. He keeps three bars in the fridge just in case.

Branleuse · 17/11/2019 17:38

Tbf i wouldnt buy a 200g bar of fruit and nut because its just asking for it.

Passthecherrycoke · 17/11/2019 17:39

It happens!

Cloverbeauty · 17/11/2019 17:41

Yanbu because I am currently working my way through a 200g dairy milk bar too Grin half is gone already.

carmelsundae · 17/11/2019 17:41

I like the jellybean one... One day I ate two of the 200g bars. It was both a great but terrible day!!

BananaPeach · 17/11/2019 17:45

You’ve just reminded me I’ve got a Cadbury’s and dime large bar in the freezer

MoaningMinniee · 17/11/2019 17:51

yabu because Cadbury's is full of dodgy palm oil, which is one reason it doesn't taste anything like as good as it used to. Next time you're in Lidl get one of their far yummier and far less expensive and far less environmentally disastrous fruit and nut chocolate bars. You'll never be tempted by Cadbury's ever again!

ISmellBabies · 17/11/2019 17:51

Yanbu. I have one in the fridge just in case of an emergency. I'm on a diet so it's safe in there for a while... Probably. Unless the bloody kids see it of course!

AliceLittle · 17/11/2019 17:53

It's half fruit - that's got to be a portion of you're 5 a day.

Tistheseason17 · 17/11/2019 17:54

200g - you're an amateur!! Grin

AgeLikeWine · 17/11/2019 17:54

We all have our weaknesses. Chocolate isn’t actually one of mine these days, but I could easily demolish a cheeseboard with a bottle of red at a sitting.
