To have just eaten a 200g bar of Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut?

Okay... so I know its not ideal and it’s not something I do often, but it happened!!!

Is this something anyone else does on occasion or AIBU to overindulge to that extent?

Can you still buy a 200g bar? I thought with shrinkflation a big bar is more like 100g or 150g these days.

I bought some Cadburys Heros on Friday. Massive disappointment. They’re rank.

Damn this thread made me want chocolate but no chocolate in the house so opened a box of chocolate fingers and well what happened it's now bye bye chocolate fingers. Can't believe I ate them all.

I'm very lonely to eat four entire Tesco choc chip muffins from the bakery (full size not the tiny weeny minis) shortly when I pop to bed.

I can eat an entire pack of chocolate, easy. Always been able to. Not good for you but occasionally, hey.

I go through periods of sobriety, then brief times of drinking loads. Seriously brief. Once a year or two years, I might smoke a cigarette. Last year I ate only posh salads for tea, for a month. So far this November, the majority of my daytime food prior to bedtime slimfast has been cheese, crackers and chilli jam.

Eat the chocolate, people.

yabu because Cadbury's is full of dodgy palm oil, which is one reason it doesn't taste anything like as good as it used to. Next time you're in Lidl get one of their far yummier and far less expensive and far less environmentally disastrous fruit and nut chocolate bars. You'll never be tempted by Cadbury's ever again!

I was watching David Attenbroughs Seven Worlds and he reckons Palm Oil is better than alternatives as it yields many more times oil per acre than any other type of oil

I bought 3 Fry's Orange Cream bars on Friday and had eaten all 3 by the time I got home. A 15 minute bus ride!
In my defence they were in a 3 pack so I couldn't have just bought 1!

@GreyGardens88 Some palm oils are more respectable than other palm oils. There are sustainable plantations, on land that was not a vital environment for endangered species; there are rather more slash and burn plantations where no thought has been given to supporting the local population either human or wildlife.

And also the recipe for Cadbury's Dairy Milk is not the same as it used to be, not just the replacement of some of the fats by palm oil but also the quantity and quality of some of the other ingredients. It doesn't melt in your mouth, it feels sort of sticky and plasticky.
