Just that.
Although he is being asked the wrong questions.

Interesting piece from The Express

www.express.co.uk/news/royal/1205571/Prince-Andrew-interview-Queen-Elizabeth-BBC-Epstein-latest-news

"Royal expert Mr Witchell.....told BBC News that interview was proof that the broader situation in Buckingham Palace unravelling. The BBC’s royal commentator said: “They would have advised, if their advice was sought, not to do it. The Queen was informed but she is 93 years old now, and she is not exercising the strong control she had, if she ever did."

The expert they quote suggests PA be cut free from the RF along with H&M for ignoring palace advice and seeking to do things their own way.

I do think when he becomes King that Charles will trim things down to William and his heirs.

There are an awful lot of people who we are supposed to bow and scrape to who are involved in stuff like this. They choose who they are going to throw under the bus and who is expendable and will be exposed. The reality is that loads of them are doing it.

Lessthanzero · 17/11/2019 22:25

How much more shit are we gonna take from these elitist lizard scum bags.

Off with their fucking heads already.

Medievalist · 17/11/2019 22:29

Amazing to think that was the last time we saw him before he had that nasty accident next Friday......

You heard it here first! 😂

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 17/11/2019 22:33

Interesing though that it seems not one single person has come forward to confirm the great Pizza Express outing of 2001. So not a single customer or member of staff recalls seeing two members of the royal family, and all their security entourage, at a humble Pizza Express in Woking?

Probably negotiating their fee with The Sun.

doritosdip · 17/11/2019 22:36

But surely everybody wants to publish first?

Puzzledandpissedoff · 17/11/2019 22:41

Amazing to think that was the last time we saw him before he had that nasty accident next Friday ...

Him? Or Virginia Roberts ... ? Wink

Patroclus · 17/11/2019 22:42

This displays nicely why people often do 'no comment' interviews

middlemuddle · 17/11/2019 22:43

Think about anyone you know acting as he has, and ask yourself what you would think about them. Would you stay friends with a person you knew was remaining friends with a convicted paedophile and going to his home? I would feel VERY uncomfortable about it.

PickleChips · 17/11/2019 22:52

I don't believe him, not for a second.

I'd happily bin off the monarchy over this, if they continue to protect him.

SadForNoReason · 17/11/2019 22:54

Apparantly he loves sex and has bed many many women, though is not interested in 'girls'. If he slept with her thinking it was concecual and thinking she was 18, and turns out she's 17, well, meh..

Lying about it all, and staying pally with a paedophile ... thats the dodgy bit ....

SadForNoReason · 17/11/2019 22:56

Amazing to think that was the last time we saw him before he had that nasty accident next Friday.....

I actually think this is a bit chilling (well said, not berrating the comment, but just a bit chilling)

I mean .. what will the royals do about Andrew now ..... all a bit scary really ...

Biggobyboo · 17/11/2019 23:04

He’s universally hated in the Royal Navy.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 17/11/2019 23:06

I mean .. what will the royals do about Andrew now

Joking aside, they'll close ranks around him just as they always do with the "blood family". After all, getting rid of him would create a precedent and who knows who'd be next?

The fly in their ointment is the continual drip-drip from the media, so who knows - maybe they'll risk a few lawsuits around on his behalf

Roussette · 17/11/2019 23:07

If he slept with her thinking it was concecual and thinking she was 18, and turns out she's 17, well, meh..

Except she was passed around like a piece of meat. She was directed to sleep with him... so not meh...
And at the time the age of consent was 18, and she was 17 and had been groomed. Epstein wasn't in prison for nothing, he with the help of Ghislaine Maxwell procured young girls and passed them around

SadForNoReason · 17/11/2019 23:13

Yes, sorry, totally get that! What I meant was that Andrew could have pled that he didn't know all that - that he thought there was an 18 yr old good looking lass at a party who he had sex with, not knowing she'd been groomed and believing it was consensual. Probably most people would have thought 'ok, whatever, meh' at that. Instead, he's denied it all, remained friends with a paedophile and is digging deeper deeper holes... implying he's a hell.of a lot more dodgy, and knew more, etc...

SkaraBrae · 17/11/2019 23:23

Love the fact that he thought the interview went so well he gave the crew a tour of Buckingham Palace after they finished.

Must have been a shock to read the public/press reaction the next morning...

I used to work in a shop in 2001 and I can clearly remember every single famous person who ever went in there. Even random people not that famous off of the TV. I’m sure someone working in Pizza Express in 2001 would remember a visit from a member of the royal family.

I was sitting next to Caroline of Monaco in a Thai bistro in South Ken 20 years ago. I still tell people about it... Grin

doritosdip · 17/11/2019 23:23

I am surprised that he didn't say "I thought she was 18" too.
I thought he admitted to sleeping with 1000+ women so not remembering her would be possible but unfortunately he's gone down the Fake Photo route which is Hmm

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 17/11/2019 23:43

The Telegraph are also reporting that the Queen didn’t approve the interview but was only informed after it was set up

Tvstar · 17/11/2019 23:53

She is only alleging sleeping with him in the UK when she was 17.she is saying the shags in the USA she was 18

OctoberLovers · 18/11/2019 00:01

He said in an interview that Epstein, done unbecoming !?!?!

Really?!? He was a sexual predator

What are we supporting here?

Oh don't - that crossed my mind too. I hope that poor young woman has some good protection.

This is all so distressing, I even dreamed about it. For my own sanity I think I'll try to avoid reading about it until some conclusion has been reached. It's ridiculous to take it so much to heart, I know that, but can't help it. I was determined to be objective when I watched the interview, tried to watch it again to see if I missed anything first time around but I just couldn't.

Silly me - I know it's not about me before anyone says.

I'm relaxing watching The Crown Series 3 :-). Am just starting episode 3 - episode 2 was hilarious in parts! This episode is going to be tragic at least at the beginning. I'd recommend The Crown to anyone interested in history.

Tvstar · 18/11/2019 00:06

I don't think pa is a nice man. I think he is pompous and rude and treats staff badly But he has not been charged with anything and I believe in innocent until proven guilty. He is not paid for by the tax payer and so is not answerable to us. He can be friends with and stay with whoever he likes. There is no reason for him to ha eto justify it to us.

OctoberLovers · 18/11/2019 00:09

He said he knew it was ‘the wrong thing to do’ to stay at Epstein’s house in 2010 – two years after the sex offender’s first conviction for soliciting a minor for prostitution – but said it was ‘convenient’.

Christ sake!
