Of course it's wrong - especially as you know he's married!

mad4simon · 19/08/2007 22:42

hes the one cheating on his wife, i don't even know the woman

derah · 19/08/2007 22:43

So if he leaves his wife to be with you, will you ever be completely secure that he won't run off with someone else?

Affairs are ALWAYS wrong.

cylon · 19/08/2007 22:44

true you are not cheating on anyone, but you are the one who is likely to be left with the heartache.
do yourself a fvavour and get away from him

herladyship · 19/08/2007 22:45

if anyone on here has a husband called simon, maybe they should start asking him a few questions!

yes, i think it is always wrong i'm afraid.. although i have heard lots of people try and justify themselves!

alucard · 19/08/2007 22:46

Maybe you are what my mother calls a bad chooser. He has no respect for the institution of marraige, no respect for his wife, no respect for you. If he liked you that much he would leave his wife and be with you. He is using you. And yes btw, it is always wrong. Its not like you don't know he is married.

Fangzooki · 19/08/2007 22:47

Liking him isn't an excuse. If he is unhappy in his marriage then he should sort out his personal life before embarking on anything else.
Doing anything else speaks volumes about his, and your, self discipline.
And how on earth could you ever be sure he won't do the same to you?

mad4simon · 19/08/2007 22:47

how can anyone say - marriage should be forever these days. In an ideal world maybe

Just be sure that his MRS doesnt find out, because believe me she will do everything she can to make your life a misery, whether you know her or not, in her eyes you have ruined her life! Watch your back and pray that she doesnt find out where you live!

Fangzooki · 19/08/2007 22:51

There is nothing idealistic about dealing with one relationship at a time. Or do you thing that having even that much respect for another person is idealistic too?

If you are looking for validation of your choice on here then I think there will be precious little.

unknownrebelbang · 19/08/2007 22:51

I want my marriage to be forever.

I'm not unrealistic enough to say it will be forever, but I bloody well hope so!

SpeccieSeccie · 19/08/2007 22:51

My SIL's husband just left her for another woman. My SIL has a 12 week old and a 19 month old. Sure, it was her husband who left but 'I don't even know the woman' really doesn't excuse any hussy who thinks it's ok to break up a family/relationship. Get over yourself. He's not the only man out there and he's not perfect (otherwise he wouldn't cheat).

alucard · 19/08/2007 22:52

'hes the one cheating on his wife, i don't even know the woman'

He is the one cheating on his wife. You are the one contributing to the moral society that we all have to live in. Just because you don't know her doesn't mean that its ok to ruin her life (or contribute towards ruining her life)

Its like saying its ok to break into someones house and nick all their stuff if you don't know them
