Jobs that you hate doing that only take a few minutes

I can't stand cleaning the cats litter tray of making sodding pack lunches even though they only take a few minutes to do. What jobs do you hate doing?

Making lunches
Washing up
Putting the trolley back after a food shop
Pairing socks
Sorting out the recycling

But I quite like ironing.

Opening a new bottle of milk and pulling the Foil lid off.
Going for petrol
Putting the weekly shop away
Vacuuming
Putting new bin bags in the bin.
Cleaning my little girls fish tank out

Putting clean sheets on the bed
Taking my make up off/cleansing face
Drying my hair. It is long and thick and should take minutes but feels like it takes forever to dry
Dealing with flowers after I've bought them. (the whole faff of the sachet, disposing of the wrapping, snipping off the ends)

Sweeping, mopping and ironing.

Hoovering but only because I have a very hairy dog so I have to hoover Every. Single. Day.

Clearing the drainer. I make a ludicrously unstable tower of dishes by just adding to it.

Cleaning out the goldfish.

Making lunchboxes

Emptying rubbish out of said lunch boxes

Emptying the tumble drier and folding/putting away

Making a salad selection for the guinea pigs because they are ungrateful and inhale it then scream for more

Putting the ironing away! Even though I've stood there doing it for an hour (which I don't mind) I hate putting it away!

I am so glad I'm not the only one who hates the milk top!

Putting the silver foil thinga-ma-jig on my windscreen at night now we're getting icy mornings. Takes about 60secs but I freakin hate it!

However, not as much as I hate scraping ice off in the morning

I'm going to solve some of these as they drive me mad.

I buy socks in all the same colour for quick pairing.

Changing my duvet and duvet cover for straightforward blanket thingies that can be shoved in the wash and no messing about.

I can't think of a packed lunch solution

Putting the biodegradable bag in the food waste bin. Bloody thing's so floppy & won't stay up. DH can do it - no idea how - although sometimes as soon as I put food in it afterwards, it collapses in on top of itself in a wimpish, damp, softly crumpled mess. I hate it with a passion.

Supervising DS brushing his teeth.

Emptying the dishwasher.
Bringing the bins in after bin collection day.
Making packed lunches for tomorrow - wish I could just chuck three quid at everyone to buy a meal deal.
Taking washing off the line, folding it and putting the bastard stuff away.

I need a housekeeper.

Like you op I bloody hate doing the packed lunches!
Also hate washing up. Dont know why, just detest it!

Get yourself a steam mop. It's so much easier.

Cleaning the oven and all the fiddly bits on the hob. Plus the extractor above the hob because I can’t reach it 😂 4ft 10 inches tall

Putting washing away. I loathe it. I will wash and iron happily and then leave it in piles that I ignore until they’re wrinkled

I LOVED the dc going to secondary school because that meant ;

Do your own washing and put it away..

Two jobs I really hated. .. and then is the rules in our house. Sadly I forgot the rule that said they ALSO had to make my packed lunch...

Lunchboxes for sure!!!
And putting the laundry away. Will happily wash fold iron etc but when it comes to putting it away, so bloody tedious!!

Getting dressed, especially when it’s cold
Buying petrol, such a hassle

Having sex with the husband ..

Putting air in my tyres

Putting cloth nappies back together after washing and drying.
It takes minutes to stuff the inserts back inside the waterproof pockets but I hate doing it - the feel of the microfibre on my fingers makes my teeth itch
