I can't stand cleaning the cats litter tray of making sodding pack lunches even though they only take a few minutes to do. What jobs do you hate doing?

@TiggerOfThigh same with that shower! The shower only takes 5 mins, it the drying thats boring! Love a bath though Grin

Thurmanmurman · 11/11/2019 15:43

Putting petrol in the car, emptying the dishwasher and removing make up at night. Complete first world problems so I count myself lucky!

Crunchymum · 11/11/2019 16:01

I agree with a lot already mentioned. Putting shopping away and cat littler tray in particular. Also teeth brushing!!

Another job I loath is reading with the kids. Don't mind it as much with the little one (too young to read properly so its more "play") or the eldest (can read proficiently now) but reading to / with the reception age child is horrible hated it when older child was that age too and takes forever.

Also hate walking too and from work, luckily I can take a few different routes so have a bit of variety!

StrangeLookingParasite · 11/11/2019 21:24

Sometimes I long to wear Velcro trainers like children do. I often wear my trainers without socks, to save a bit of time.

You can get these stretchy lace thingies that will allow you to pull your shoes on and off....these things

TroysMammy · 11/11/2019 21:26

Putting clean cutlery away.

JaneyGotAGun · 11/11/2019 21:39

Wiping down the side in the kitchen. I’ll happily clean the whole kitchen but absolutely loathe wiping down the side after. Weird

NoSauce · 11/11/2019 21:49

Putting ironing away
Putting shopping away
Putting petrol in the car
Emptying dishwasher
Ordering dog food online

tinyteece01 · 11/11/2019 21:51

Emptying the dishwasher. Hate it.

Whatdayisit2 · 11/11/2019 21:54

Peeling windfall apples from the garden 'because it's a waste not to use them'

RLOU30 · 11/11/2019 22:00

When the dishwasher decides it needs a top up of rinse aid 😤
Winding the Henry Hoover lead up after hoovering. Happy to vacuum whole house just can't put it away!
Putting shoes on that have laces. So odd but I just want to get out the door and it's slowing me down.

QuestionableMouse · 11/11/2019 22:02

I have elastic laces in my work shoes because I hate messing with them.

frogsbreath · 11/11/2019 22:03

Emptying the bin. I often have an overflow carrier bag of rubbish and get annoyed that I'm not using the sodding expensive kitchen bin. But it's always full of rubbish.

Elodie2019 · 11/11/2019 22:03

Pairing up socks. I hate it.

formerbabe · 11/11/2019 22:03

Yes I agree with a pp about doing up shoe laces...I actually bought some slip on trainers to avoid this. I don't wear boots either because I hate putting them on! Ballet flats and slip on trainers only for me!

I also hate

Filling up the car with petrol...a man's job if ever there was one! Don't all throw things at me

Neverender · 11/11/2019 22:06

Hated changing my bed cover until I got one from Amazon with little ties for the corners and a ZIP - love it now!

BlueJava · 11/11/2019 22:22

Changing ved linen and scrubbing the tiles in the bathroom are mine.

nonevernotever · 11/11/2019 22:49

I loathe putting clean dishes or clothes away. Agree with pp that brushing your teeth is really really boring and I hate emptying the bins. But I like changing the duvet covers and I fucking love peeling the seal off a new bottle of milk or ketchup etc. Absolute best though is the new coffee jars with a sort of wax paper seal. Stabbing those is so satisfying

singswithitsfingers · 12/11/2019 00:04

Getting showered (hair wash) and dressed at the weekend. During the week, going to work, I'm on autopilot and get ready very quickly but somehow at weekends it's a chore.

IncrediblySadToo · 12/11/2019 00:35

@formerbabe. I’ve always liked filling the car. I love the smell of petrol! If you lived closer I’d happily take yours to fill it for you (as long as you paid for the petrol ! It’s so bloody expensive these days!) Oh & no deal if it’s diesel!

NonUrinatInVentum · 12/11/2019 06:57

I hate washing my teeth too. I thought I was the only one!

We hate changing the litter so much that we saved and bought a litter robot. Best labour saving thing we ever spent a fortune on!

Hanging wet clothes in the clothes horse gives me rage. I hate it. I just throw everything in the dryer. No mishaps yet Blush

Bananacake20 · 12/11/2019 07:08

Taking the bins out! Mainly because I always forget until very late at night so I end up running up the driveway in the rain with my PJs on and hair in a towel and it just annoys me that I have to do it every week!

Putting fuel in the car as well. It's just annoying and I can't explain why. And again it's the fact that I have to do the same tedious thing every week for the rest of my life now hahha

MrsMonkeyBear · 12/11/2019 07:11

Cleaning out the litter tray (had the cat less than a week and already hate it)
Cleaning the fireplace (why did I think having a real fire would be amazing)
Changing the beds
Cleaning the bathroom

maddiemookins16mum · 12/11/2019 07:21

Emptying the food caddy and washing it.......it always manages to have water hiding somewhere which drips all over me when I go to put a new green caddy bag in.

Elodie2019 · 12/11/2019 09:36

Putting washing away
Putting fuel in car
Pairing socks
Filling up water bottle
Cleaning shoes
Changing batteries in things
Signing in/out at work
Changing light bulbs
Shutting the computer down properly

The list is endless.... most things irritate me.

echt · 12/11/2019 09:45

Showering
Bathing
Pelvic floor exercises. So stupid not to as they actually work
Pairing black socks
Changing bed linen
Unpacking stuff : shopping/dishwasher/suitcases
