To ask Worst thing about pregnancy?

For me it's the constant burping after every meal - massive giant burps ! Also in the first trimester morning sickness

Constant nausea for me. Didn’t abate till the birth.

It's the claustrophobic feeling, there's no escaping your bump, no having a break from it. It's just there and there's nothing you can do about it. Most of the time obviously it's lovely having your baby right there all tucked up safe, but it freaks me out sometimes.

It was definitely the sickness and sore boobs for me.

Never ending heartburn.

It's a tie between vomiting constantly for months and having to sleep with a bottle of vile pink liquid in my hand because of the heart burn.

Only child here!

How people treat you as if you don’t know what’s too much for your body, unless it suits them. (So one day I couldn’t do things, the next I can because they wouldn’t do it themselves)
having people tell others you’re pregnant before you’re ready because they heard a rumour. So they tell everyone and you get none of the congratulations.
Thankfully I managed a fairly easy pregnancy but 9 months later these things still bother me.

Heartburn for me too. And constantly feeling heavy. And feeling anxious about the baby and the birth.

Aching hips. From about week 25 onwards I couldn’t lay on the same side for more than an hour before my hips were agony.

Constant heartburn here too. I sometimes don’t even want to eat because I know it will result in more heartburn.

Miscarriage

SPD which I've had for around 27 weeks so far. Right at the end of my tether with this.

People telling me how massive I am. I get it, I'm huge, I have a mirror, thanks for pointing it out yet again....

15 years of not being able to fall Pregnant and then when it finally does happen Losing 4 Babies 3 within the last 8 months. I'd give anything to have my heartburn, sore boobs and morning sickness back!!

Sciatica, heartburn and piles. It felt like I was pooing glass.

Being enormous. Followed by not sleeping, always needing to pee and the neverending heartburn

The nausea and exhaustion. It was like having a hangover 24/7 for 4 months. Eased a bit at the 20 week point but came back with a vengeance when tired. With DC2 I was less able to rest due to toddler so I got splitting headaches as well.

9 months of nausea and vomiting. Also the terrible rage and depression because I couldn't take my antidepressants

The sickness (which also never abated for until dc was born)

The crap sleep

The relentless uncomfortableness.

It's not exactly painful (it is at times, dry heaving because you've vomited six times in 20 minutes hurts, and the aches towards the end hurt) but it is just uncomfortable the entire time.

Also the mood swings.

Depends what day it is

Being treated like an idiot whose body needs to be openly judged is pretty tedious.

I've also had to have more than the usual number of medical appointments but no continuity of care, and being asked incredibly personal questions by total strangers at least weekly is starting to get pretty wearing.

I can't wait for the birth etc to be over, just to get the hell away from medical staff.

Having people shoving past you to get the last seat on the train/trolley in the supermarket is shit.

Heartburn is shit.

Nausea is shit.

Round ligament pain is shit.

Repeated UTIs are shit.

Anaemia is shit.

Anxiety is shit.

Sleeplessness is shit.

Not being able to do any of the things I used to enjoy is shit.

Feeling weak and tired all the time is shit.

Constipation is... awful.

The insomnia in the third trimester.

And I also hated all the medical check ups.
Each time I had to go to the hospital and they always wanted to check my weight, urine, needed to have an internal examination at nearly every visit. I really, really hated that. It was like my body didn’t belong to me anymore and I had become some sort of vessel. Surely I will get flamed for this as I should be grateful for medical care, its part of pregnancy etc, etc. but I am just a very private person and I do not like strangers touching me and the interference of what I felt as a very intimate and natural proces.

Constant sickness, never felt so unwell for the full 9 months.

The nausea, It was insufferable!

The hyperemesis - it's just unrelenting. Currently pregnant with our second and I can't wait for it to be over and be done with pregnancy forever.

Huge love to those who've suffered losses. We lost two ourselves before our DD and it's horrible. But honestly being pregnant isn't a walk in the park either. It's ok to hate it.

Oh God the sickness 12 weeks of constant sickness so far.

From my first pregnancy the insomnia, restless legs, moodiness, sore boobs.
