For me it's the constant burping after every meal - massive giant burps ! Also in the first trimester morning sickness

OP posts:
Slippingcareer · 09/11/2019 16:10

For me, sciatica. Was on crutches at 13 weeks, and pretty much lay on my sofa from
16-39 weeks, horrific. Currently considering trying for a second....

Dumptyhumpty101 · 09/11/2019 16:14

Constant sickness and horrible taste in your mouth
Insomnia coupled with extreme exhaustion
Piles!!

Celebelly · 09/11/2019 16:17

The heartburn for me. I'd wake up choking on acid towards the end. It was horrible!

20viona · 09/11/2019 16:23

I had an easy pregnancy but serious heartburn from about 32 weeks onwards was my issue. Ranitidine was the only thing that helped.

Catapillarsruletheworld · 09/11/2019 16:26

With dd1 it was the itching. Nothing serious, just where my skin had stretched so much on my stomach and was horribly itchy! Oh and the stretch marks. So many stretch marks!!

Scarlett555 · 09/11/2019 16:28

Nausea! Have vomited multiple times a day every single day since the beginning of August with no sign of it stopping.

strawbmilk · 09/11/2019 16:29

Heartburn for me but I got some tablets from the dr and I haven't even had a niggle since I started taking them. Omeprazole. One a day. From being in tears unable to sleep to being normal again overnight!

Walnutwhipster · 09/11/2019 16:29

Throwing up all day every day until birth with all three, pre-eclampsia, precipitous labours, (so quick no pain relief!) It was all hideous.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 09/11/2019 16:30

For me it was physically a doddle but mentally pretty horrible - I had three miscarriages before DS, there were a few scares about him being too small and me not feeling movements and I was genuinely astonished (and delighted, of course!) when he was born healthy

joggingon · 09/11/2019 16:30

Stretch marks. Everything else passes with time :(

Poetryinaction · 09/11/2019 16:33

Birth
Diastasis recti

Kcoffecakebubs · 09/11/2019 16:37

People thinking they have the right to walk up to you and touch your bump!

wondering7777 · 09/11/2019 16:38

I’m only 15 weeks pregnant, but so far I’d say the nausea, being “off” certain foods that I used to enjoy and the not drinking! I have to admit I do miss my wine (although to be honest, if I did try to drink any it would probably make me feel hideously sick).

Also just the worry and constant fear between scans about whether the baby is still ok.

BritWifeinUSA · 09/11/2019 16:40

For me it was the fact that it was ectopic. After IVF too. My only pregnancy in my life.

Notajogger · 09/11/2019 16:40

@Honeybee85 - why were you having internal examinations at every appointment? Sounds very odd - most people I know never had any. Plus you can say no to anything you don't want, don't forget. I know people who've said "oh they're booking me in for an induction as I'm nearly overdue" - which is madness when there's no medical reason for it, and they absolutely can't book/do anything without consent!

Drogosnextwife · 09/11/2019 16:42

Sickness, even in labour. All day and night, for at least 38 weeks with both pregnancies, fucking horrendous. Heartburn, every minute of every day.

KateK00 · 09/11/2019 16:42

The heaviness! From 12 weeks I felt like I’d swallowed 10 tonne of lead and as the ridiculously huge bump just got bigger and bigger which caused horrific back ache! I could barely walk for the last few weeks.

BlueSuffragette · 09/11/2019 16:43

Having HG twice. Being sick literally every half an hour, retching constantly on an empty stomach and bring up yellow disgusting tasting bile.

schafernaker · 09/11/2019 16:44

Constantly being tired 😔

peonypower · 09/11/2019 16:46

Constant indigestion from the get go - heartburn and burping

Also lots of migraines and not being able to take anything other than paracetamol

And insomnia

SwampOfDeath · 09/11/2019 16:46

Havelock Flowers

Persistent nausea
SPD (soooo bad)
Profound tiredness and exhaustion
Teetering on edge of quite worrying, absolutist thinking, feeling at once very primal, yet detached.

peonypower · 09/11/2019 16:46

On the plus side though, no nausea or tiredness

CalamityJune · 09/11/2019 16:47

The lasting effect on my stomach always looking like a melted wax work. The marks have mercifully faded in colour but theyre still as lumpy and there's always the pouch. Makes any fitted clothes look terrible. I didn't even gain that much weight or have an especially large bump.

middlemuddle · 09/11/2019 16:48

SPD/PGP. I'd love to be a surrogate for someone, but for that reason I could never.
