To ask how often you DTD when TTC

Just that really !
Currently TTC baby number one. On month one after first AF post coil removal .
Dtd every 2-3 days , is that enough? Not using OPKs due to stress lol

Yepp, every 2-3 days was recommended to me by fertility specialist, should have you covered ☺️

About 2 times a week but we took a very chilled approach to it 😀

2-3days is what’s recommended. Plus you’re most fertile about two weeks after AF

Every other day, fell first month of actively trying (2 months after copper coil out) but I am aware that we were extremely lucky.

Every day during the fertile period. Mind you track it accurately, it's quite easy to miss it. 3 babies all conceived within 1-2 months TTC.

Son 1 was unplanned. I forgot a few pills and along he came. We had only been together a few weeks and we’re probably having sex twice a day at least.

Son 2 was planned. Took 5 months to conceive and we DTD three times a week roughly in the run up. I actually am fairly convinced he was conceived from DTD on 11th December 2015 as I had ovulation pains that morning and DTD 10 minutes later.

Son 3 complete surprise. We only managed to DTD once that month as DH was working away. We used a condom and to our knowledge it didn’t split and appeared erm, fully functional when it was disposed of.

About two or three times a month around the time I knew I was ovulating (I used one of those apps where you enter your period dates). A few times outside the ovulation window as well. It took four months to get a BFP!

Every other day during fertile week, maybe once a week for rest of month, took us 2 months

Every day during my fertile period, tracked by OPKs and BBT. Still took a year though due to other fertility issues

We found doing it every other day during my "fertility days" was too late. We got some advice to start as soon as my Period finishes, and then every other day right up to my peak days. In the first month we did that, I fell pregnant. Could be coincidence !

Every other day :) gives the sperm/sperm count a chance to regenerate
I just ignored fertile days on app as 45 day cycles - who knows when it could be 😂

Every other day from day 8 onwards. Sometimes every 3 days.

When we did it lots it never happened. When I did it once, it did....
Don’t stress over it, just enjoy the sex and it’ll be more likely to happen. We became too scientific and ended up on ivf. 2 accidental pregnancies later dtd once makes me a believer in the ‘just relax’ camp.

Have a look up about which signs show when you're most fertile (temp, cervical mucus etc - mucus/discharge makes it pretty obvious when you know what you're looking for) - i wasn't ovulating when my period tracker thought I should be so you could be missing it if you go by one of those or standard "two weeks after period" type advice.

I downloaded an app called womans log to keep track of it all, you can record what days you have sex and when your period comes.
I had just come off the mini pill after 14 years and didn't have a clue how long my cycle would be. I waited 7 weeks for my first period to come. The app said around day 14 after my period finished would be my fertile day. I used some cheap ovulation tests from ebay and it was positive on day 11.

We had sex every other day after the ovulation test and I remember one day we managed 3 times... Not sure how as we are lucky to do it 3 times a week. We were very lucky and fell pregnant, I'm now currently 13 weeks. Was not expecting it to happen so quickly.

Stopped taking the pill and carried on as normal, so most days.
I had no idea actively trying was a thing if there were no fertility issues.

Once a month.

So yes, I did all the ovulation tracking etc or we'd have had no fucking hope.

We have 2 kids so far, so I can vouch for it as a method, but I'm sure the 'jist shag every couple of days and forget all about timings' works better and is less stressful if you can manage it.

Did cervix tracking and had sex every other day during fertile week. Took 3 months to fall pregnant each time. I'm pretty sure I could pinpoint the exact day that we conceived this time round, due to tracking of cervical mucus/ texture which sounds gross but has been very effective for me.

First time we had sex after coil removed I feel pregnant (I was then away working for a few weeks, and when i came back we didn’t have sex as I was asleep before 6pm each evening- took another week and a half until the penny dropped that I slept liked this on Ds1). Dp was most impressed with his little swimmers 🙄

Every other day a week before your ovulation, day before ovulation, day of ovulation, day after ovulation, every other day for a few more days, then 2 weeks "rest" and start again.

I have 3 children via sperm donations. For each of them I used ovulation tests & DTD once a month on the day of peak ovulation. My 1st child was conceived the first time I tried age 34. My second child was conceived the 2nd time of trying age 38 & my third child was conceived the first time I tired age 42.

I usually know when I'm ovulating so me and my husband would go out for dinner, get drunk and have a completely wild night. Two babies conceived first month of trying 😂
