One of the pills I have to take costs about 5p to manufacture and at least £9.22 for the NHS to buy, per 20mcg pill. I think they are about 25p each in Europe, and I would buy them there if I could. The NHS don't always manage to get good deals because of their size.

Hillary had a bad cold and the media was fitting her for a coffin.

Trump is rushed to Walter Reed on a Saturday, transparently lies about why, then cancels all his events by 9am on Sunday and no one's talking about his health.

This is what institutional misogyny looks like.

The staff at the hospital got no advanced VIP notice and the Secret Service was not set up on scene.

It wasn't scheduled. It was an emergency. Panic attack, heart attack, maybe stroke considering his sedentary lifestyle, weight, and diet.

All hail the mighty Supreme Leader! This was part of an exchange on Fox News, of course. (Seriously, though, this is exactly how North Korea talks.)

Apologies if you've already made reference to this here.

Anthony Bennett on Liker:

Breaking news from The Wall Street Journal. Trump is cooked. Sondland knew way more than he has been letting on, and he was way more involved in Trump's quid pro quo:

Wall Street Journal: "Gordon Sondland, President Trump's ambassador to the European Union, reportedly kept top officials in the Trump administration updated on efforts to persuade Ukraine to launch an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden ahead of Trump's much-publicized July call with the country's president.

The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday that Sondland updated officials, including acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney and Energy Secretary Rick Perry, via email on the results of his efforts, which have become the center of House Democrats' impeachment inquiry.

The report comes as top officials, including former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, have testified that they were uncomfortable with a "shadow" foreign policy seemingly being run out of the White House by Trump and his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani.

The White House's effort to push Ukraine to investigate Biden has been viewed by Democrats as an attempt to solicit foreign interference in the 2020 election. Lawmakers have also taken issue with reports that the administration held up aid to Ukraine on the condition of the country launching an investigation.
Trump and his allies have consistently denied that aid to Ukraine, which has been embroiled in conflicts with Russian-backed rebels in Crimea for years, was ever tied to an investigation of Biden. They also argue such an investigation was not tied to Biden's entrance in the 2020 Democratic presidential race."

Sondland ....kept top officials in the Trump administration updated on efforts to persuade Ukraine to launch an investigation......via email on the results of his efforts

This is great, but the problem once again is that this gives Scrotus 'plausible deniability'. Unless there is language in the emails of 'tell Scrotus I did what he told me' and 'Scrotus said good work' then he can say it was all done without his knowledge/consent based on them 'mistaking' what he said in his 'perfect call'. Cohen already pointed out how Scrotus never issues direct orders for his nefarious schemes, he uses 'certain words' his people 'understand as orders' or phrases things as 'It would be nice if XYZ happened' or 'what would happen if XYZ was done' so he can say "I never TOLD them to do it, they did it off their own backs". Layers upon layers upon layers and always a willing (or incredibly stupid) 'fall guy'.

The only direct evidence we have is the overheard phone call where he asked about whether or not the investigation had been agreed to. And even that isn't really direct but depends on more than one person saying 'yes, I heard that too'.

Judges suggest court shouldn’t solve dispute over Mueller’s evidence

Two Republican-appointed judges raised the possibility Monday that the courts should simply butt out of a dispute between Congress and the Justice Department over Robert Mueller’s underlying evidence.

Democratic lawmakers working on a possible impeachment of President Donald Trump have been seeking access to the secret grand jury information the special counsel’s team relied on during its 22-month probe into Russian election interference and whether the Trump campaign conspired with the Kremlin.

But DOJ, acting at the direction of Attorney General Bill Barr, has refused to hand over the grand jury materials and underlying testimony. Grand jury information is typically kept private, but courts can authorize disclosures for a variety of reasons.

As a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit wrestled with the issue Monday morning, Trump-appointed Judge Neomi Rao pointed out that in a 1993 case involving impeachment of a federal judge, the Supreme Court declined to wade into the mechanics of the impeachment process. She suggested that the courts have no business resolving the House’s request for the blacked-out portions of the Mueller report.

The biggest mystery in @realdonaldtrump's financial disclosures: he owes more than $50 million** to an LLC that exists mostly on paper. No employees, no office, no assets of its own.
That mystery lender, Chicago Unit Acquisition LLC,
just filed its annual report. This is it.

This one-page doc from the Illinois Sec. of State is the only annual public proof that this LLC even exists.
It shows as always that this huge creditor of @realdonaldtrump's is owned by Trump's own company.

@trump Org has not explained why or how.

I'd still love to know what the heck is going on here.

Nunes just tried to get Vindman to unwittingly out the whistleblower. Vindman's lawyer and Schiff just smacked Nunes down like a buzzing skeeter in a dark room. SPLAT!

NUNES: Mr. Vindman, you testified in your deposition that you did not know the whistlblower.
VINDMAN: Ranking Member, it's Lieutenant Colonel Vindman.
