As it says in the title.

Help me psychic people!

I am blind!

On your head? Grin

MrsSpenserGregson · 24/10/2019 12:20

Ah, they're not on your face then. I once spent two hours - TWO HOURS - searching for my glasses WHILE WEARING THEM.

Have you looked in the fridge?

easyandy101 · 24/10/2019 12:21

Dashboard

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 24/10/2019 12:21

On the side above the washing machine. You took them off because they kept slipping while you were bending over loading the machine.

Or in the bathroom because you were taking makeup off and forgot to remove specs before going in there.

Or by the back door because they misted up when you popped outside in the damp air.

ScreamingCosArgosHaveNoRavens · 24/10/2019 12:21

Not psychic, but have you tried the bathroom, near bath/shower? That's where mine often are hiding.

Also, see if they have slipped off your bedside table - easy to knock them off when fumbling for glass of water/tissue in the night.

mrsjoyfulprizeforraffiawork · 24/10/2019 12:23

Down the side of the chair cushion, in the dog's basket??

WillowySnicket · 24/10/2019 12:23

In the little glasses holder in the car!

Chloe84 · 24/10/2019 12:24

In your coat pocket

mrsjoyfulprizeforraffiawork · 24/10/2019 12:24

In the waste paper bin
tucked into the top of whatever top you are wearing

BarbaraofSeville · 24/10/2019 12:25

Have you looked in various bags and coat pockets that you might have used since you last had them. That's where I usually find mine. Or in the car.

It doesn't help that I only really need mine for driving and generally take them off the rest of the time due to annoying reflections etc.

londonrach · 24/10/2019 12:27

Stop op..make a cup of tea...sit down...close your eyes and have a think where you were last when you had it....

Otherwise try the fridge, airing cupboard, washing basket..

PlasticPatty · 24/10/2019 12:27

Found my phone behind the keyboard of the pc last night.

Your glasses are in the wrong drawer.

Crede · 24/10/2019 12:28

Ah, they're not on your face then. I once spent two hours - TWO HOURS - searching for my glasses WHILE WEARING THEM.

Grin I was once in hysterics at university, sobbing, ripping apart my room for a couple of hours "I can't see without my glasses😭😭😭".
I was wearing them, I blame the fact I was slightly hungover at the time!

WhatdoImean · 24/10/2019 12:30

With apologies to my mum, from whom this gem used to be a regular comment:-

"Well, where did you last have them?"

ARRGGHHH

Sympathy OP - good luck

missmouse101 · 24/10/2019 12:32

Slipped under the car seat?

Lllot5 · 24/10/2019 12:36

I found mine in the dishwasher once.
They are in the floor in the gap between the armchair and the wall. The armchair that is slightly offset to the tv.

DontCallMeShitley · 24/10/2019 12:43

Under the bed
Arm of the sofa
End of the bath or on the top of the cistern
Inside bedside drawer
Hanging from the neck of your jumper
By your pillow/under it

SeaWitchly · 24/10/2019 12:44

They have slipped in the gap between your bed and the wall.

mencken · 24/10/2019 12:45

clutches temples, concentrates...

assuming not on head or face - under cushions, on floor under bed, on shelf in bathroom.

I do get that it is hard to find glasses if you need glasses!!

BrieAndChilli · 24/10/2019 12:45

when did you last have them? I wear contacts and couldnt find my glasses for about 2 weeks, turned out they were in my overnight bag from when I went away with work!

Trooperslaneagain · 24/10/2019 12:48

@SeaWitchly that's where mine always are. DD (6) Mummmyyyy!!! Not Again!

MelonSlice · 24/10/2019 12:49

The glasses that you're looking for now, or the replacements that you'll lose?

tillytrotter1 · 24/10/2019 12:50

I once found a lost pair a year later in the rhubarb, I dont need them generally, just for distance, so I'm always taking them off and leaving them in odd places.

PanamaPattie · 24/10/2019 12:54

Top of the fridge.
Next to the kettle/coffee maker.
Shelf or windowsill in bathroom.

Jocasta2018 · 24/10/2019 12:55

Walk around your house and sit on every available flat surface. You'll sit on them eventually (& probably break them but at least you've found them!).
