Candle1000 · 21/10/2019 17:44
Confused
PancakeAndKeith · 21/10/2019 17:46

A man said ‘cock’.
Is that it?
Call 101 and log it.

RoomR0613 · 21/10/2019 17:46

I understand what you mean, I've had two similar discussions with immature colleagues.

One getting himself into a tizzy about the perfectly normal name 'Woodcock' and another 'Cockburn'. I interfered with the latter one to make sure they didn't make a tit of themselves pronouncing it wrong on the phone to a client.

It's a surname with the word cock in it. Get over it.

HauntedmessFrogbeaver · 21/10/2019 17:46

I don't think she said cock. Think she said Cockrem like Corem to correct him.

I think?

Dahlietta · 21/10/2019 17:46

I think some bloke said cock to the OP, because it was in part of someone else's surname, but it's not entirely clear.

OPnameChange · 21/10/2019 17:48

Is this that much of an issue? Hmm

MrsToothyBitch · 21/10/2019 17:48

You ok hun? Hmm

managedmis · 21/10/2019 17:48

He said 'COCK' not me! Shock

I've put it in big letters cos he really emphasised it, booming voice :COCK!

Wtaf

That's not the guy's name though, cock just happens to be part of his name

OP posts:
HauntedmessFrogbeaver · 21/10/2019 17:50

I've never heard of that surname. Sorry. I would've said cock too

MuchBetterNow · 21/10/2019 17:50

I guess you had to be there 🙄

Idontneeditatall · 21/10/2019 17:50

I still don’t get it. He said the word cock as part of someone’s name and you think he won’t be able to look you in the eye again?!!!

Witchinaditch · 21/10/2019 17:50

Who are the 50% that think you’re not being unreasonable? I would t find it embarrassing but I would find it very funny!

Waiting1987 · 21/10/2019 17:50

Confused I still don't get why he should be embarrassed. I wouldn't blush if I said cockerel.

Witchinaditch · 21/10/2019 17:50

Wouldn’t*

Todaythiscouldbe · 21/10/2019 17:53

Ha ha. You wouldn't last two minutes where I work. I don't get it at all, he said cock???

NotACleverName · 21/10/2019 17:53

We need a diagram.

HauntedmessFrogbeaver · 21/10/2019 17:53

Don't play badminton. You have to hit a shuttlec**k

Bluerussian · 21/10/2019 17:53

Hilarious, not.

How about the name, 'Condon', ? You can imagine kids sniggering and altering one of the letters.

'Rance' would be 'Rancid'.

You're not kids.

Lulualla · 21/10/2019 17:56

What is everyone not understanding? He didn't just say it as part of them name, by saying "cockrem". If he'd just said the name, then there'd be no awkward moment. But he didn't. He as spelling it out and said "cockrem... You know... COCK". It's something 14 year old boys would do in school if someone's surname had cock in it. He stopped the normal reading of the name to go "you know, COCK". Emphasising the syllable with a haha, it's got cock it.

He's an idiot.

Hahaha88 · 21/10/2019 17:56

Anyone else think the op us cringing after starting this thread? I would be!
