To feel really sorry for Prince Harry breaking down

AviationLifystyle · 16/10/2019 09:56

At the awards show. I have been a little skeptical about him recently but my heart really went out to him when I saw the footage.

I have a feeling that having a child has triggered a huge amount of unresolved grief and anxiety. Now he has this dear little boy who is at the mercy of the tabloid press, as is his wife and there is little he can do to protect him.

It's time the press laid off. This is a human being breaking in front of us.

No sympathy for Prince Harry whatsoever,he is not fit to be representing the Queen at any event.

Hopefully he will relocate to the US and disappear.

BertrandRussell · 16/10/2019 18:48

“ he is not fit to be representing the Queen at any event.”

Why not? Specifically?

morningcoffee22 · 16/10/2019 19:03

I don’t understand why we’re getting such overload of the RF lately. They really shouldn’t be so prominent, what have they done to earn such attention. They’re just ordinary people, but we hang on to their every word. Confused

Cerseirys · 16/10/2019 19:23

Lately?? You missed the Diana years then @morningcoffee22! (Though apologies if you weren't born til after those.)

heath48 · 16/10/2019 19:33

@BertrandRussell,I have no intention of explaining myself to the likes of you, have read some of your comments and quite frankly you are not worthy of being replied to.You are biased and blinkered.

CallmeAngelina · 16/10/2019 19:40

I've always been a bit of a Royalist.
I liked Harry very much. I was pleased when he married Meghan, and thought they would be a breath of fresh air.

Now? FFS. Get over themselves. Not interested in anything they say or do and they need to bloody realise that this is the British Royal Family they're part of, not some shite soap opera. Piss or get off the pot. Either play the game as it should be played or fuck off to America and do the Hollywood stuff properly.

CallmeAngelina · 16/10/2019 19:41

Oh, and stop with the constant touchy-feelie hand-holding all the fucking time, too!

BertrandRussell · 16/10/2019 19:42

“ Piss or get off the pot. Either play the game as it should be played or fuck off“

How do they play the game wrong?

Sweetpea55 · 16/10/2019 19:43

I don't think he was ' breaking'. Its an emotional event and he had an emotional moment.. We all have them and it doesn't mean we're mentally ill

BertrandRussell · 16/10/2019 19:44

One good thing- a lot more people have heard or WellChild now. Might boost their funds a bit.

CallmeAngelina · 16/10/2019 19:49

Hand-holding. Over-the-top displays of emotion. Thinly-veiled digs at family members (could be a two-way street, yes, but never used to happen). Overt and quite aggressive attacks on the media which comes across as being against "us," the general public.... for starters.

morningcoffee22 · 16/10/2019 19:50

I’m amazed more people couldn’t see he “cried” to cover up the laugh. You see his face breaking out in a smile, then he practically snorted ffs.

BertrandRussell · 16/10/2019 19:50

I “am not worthy of being replied to” Grin

isadoradancing123 · 16/10/2019 19:51

He is attention seeking, the event wasnt about him and his feelings

RoseQuartzGlow · 16/10/2019 20:04

Yes

Cerseirys · 16/10/2019 20:12

Erm, the royal family turned into a shite soap opera a long time ago! Long before Meghan came on the scene.

yellowallpaper · 16/10/2019 20:15

He became a bit emotional as so many others would in that situation with a new baby. I'm sure he's very happy with his little family normally. I have a disabled child and it's easy to get emotional around him and his friends. They are little stars.

BertrandRussell · 16/10/2019 20:16

“ He is attention seeking, the event wasnt about him and his feelings”
Well it was a bit, surely? He’d spent ages before interacting with the kids and their parents- 10 seconds of emotion Is hardly unexpected and I think if I had been one of the parents I would have liked it.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 16/10/2019 20:18

They somewhat won with their suits - The Times has no coverage of them doing anything - good or bad Grin

Roobaby141 · 16/10/2019 20:23

The sad thing is that everyone is talking about Harry and not the awards and the bravery and courageousness of these children and young people and all their families strikes me as rather a poor do now. Its not about Harry. 9 I have no thoughts or feelings about whether he cried or not, Its not what it should be about.) Its about real life for real people. Its now been turned into did he or did he not cry. So very very sad.

Naillig222 · 16/10/2019 20:31

I also thought it seems like a laugh/snort. Or like he was putting on a cry but turned away because it would be obvious it was fake. It was very strange.

I also might have this wrong, but was his 'emotion' about him and his wife wondering how they would cope if their child had additional needs? And he said this to a room full of people who have kids with additional needs?
I just found the whole thing a bit bizarre.

Cerseirys · 16/10/2019 20:38

@Roobaby141 The same could be said about any event any royal attends.

BertrandRussell · 16/10/2019 20:39

Of course everyone had heard of WellChild before, yes?

fruitinaheapisnotabirthdaycake · 16/10/2019 20:56

Hazza and meagain can take perfectly good care of themselves. You're a bit unusual op. In a nice way of course.

thisisthend · 16/10/2019 20:58

I don't feel for him. He's had it easy. Granted there was losing his mum, but he's led a cushy life and had lots of sympathy, and never had to struggle to make ends meet. Get a grip Harry, you weak sap.
