I see posters saying they don't have any children, or want any. So if you aren't a parent, pregnant or TTC, why are you here on mumsnet?🤔

I suppose I come here just because it’s a good forum and one of the biggest so lots of subjects and traffic.

I’m also a man shock horror. Hopefully reading some stuff makes me a better one also but not on an intelligence gathering mission.

I avoid the baby stuff but do comment quite a bit in AIBU and relationships. Particularly like the feminist board as this seems one of the few places where the trans madness is allowed to be discussed. Suppose I could go on a male dominated forum but they’re not as big as Mumsnet and most men don’t give a stuff about the trans stuff mainly due to not being aware of it and less affected. Sadly for women

@hopityhopity I came here when TTC. All my miscarriages later I don’t be have kids. But I like the other threads. Should MNHQ have a time limit or kick people off a public forum?

Maybe you are my SIL who thinks it’s hilarious that I’m on MN when I don’t have kids and she laughs to family members when telling them so

I always wondered that too

No need to wonder lots of posts to explain

....at least everyone would know why you are here 'MummyofTw0'

Wombleish · 16/10/2019 22:02

MN really needs to explain, in words of one syllable, on their home page, that it is not a requirement to be a female parent to join.

And I'm so enthusiast about the idea that I posted it twice Grin

PurpleDaisies · 16/10/2019 22:05

They really, really need to explain it!

That'd be nice. They won't, though.

I think MummyofTw0 might have answered the OP without reading the thread.
