Something happened.

It was very bad and someone else's fault, possibly their child, possibly their MIL.

It may or may not have involved a flooded basement.

I've considered storming into school and confronting the head, changing the locks and baking again from scratch, gluten free. AIBU?

Dont want to give too many details as it could give you the faintest idea of what I'm on about be outing. Asking for a friend.

Oh - and have you thought about selling all your crap on eBay and taking in ironing?

NameChange84 · 10/10/2019 13:25

FFS I hate it when OPs dripfeed like this!

You need to give your head a wobble.

And as a Coeliac I'm offended. Is this an American thing?

SunglassQueen · 10/10/2019 13:28

I know you say you're broke but can you afford a cleaner?

HavelockVetinari · 10/10/2019 13:29

If everybody in the neighbourhood didn't have an identical cake, no-one should have eaten one. FFS

UrghJustUrgh · 10/10/2019 13:29

It's your own fault for putting your knickers in with your teatowels.

MagneticSingularity · 10/10/2019 13:32

Storming into school to report it to the head? Yeah do that and give the staffroom something to snigger about for the rest of term. First - the head doesn’t fucking care; second - it’s not cruel and unusual punishment to make your pfb snowflake help keep the school clean. What? You expect them to hire a janitor? Are you on fucking glue? Where do you think the money’s coming from for that? They can’t even afford books! it’s everyone’s job to keep the school clean, and besides, scrubbing toilets with a toothbrush is character-building.

SgtFredColon · 10/10/2019 13:34

You obviously should have paid to book the seats so you could have sat together. Entitled much??!

Neome · 10/10/2019 13:53

My friend actually cried off the spa day claiming she had to go to A&E with a very minor issue (but she is ok and says thank you to all thread huns for making her cry with silent laughter and get Hmm looks).

I am totally going to block her. It's not like she's heavily pregnant or anything.

LonginesPrime · 10/10/2019 13:55

You should put your ironing out to someone else, that's what I did and it's changed my life!!!!

Obviously if you can't afford it, you might have to take in some ironing to pay for it, but trust me, it's definitely worth it!

agododopushpineapple · 10/10/2019 14:13

I’m afraid that by having a loo brush in the first place you were just asking for trouble. Can you find a neighbour/family friend/random stranger in Waitrose to look after the kids while you sort this out.

TwoPupsandaHamster · 10/10/2019 14:19

No is a complete answer!
Maybe a large dressing where your legs meet will help, make sure it isn't trident sized though - that would be difficult to balance between your knees

agododopushpineapple · 10/10/2019 14:27

Oh and please ask MNHQ to our a trigger warning on this thread

Drum2018 · 10/10/2019 14:36

My cousin works in A&E and she said that your pregnant friend had something crawling in her lady garden and it wasn't the baby. I'd advise your Dh to have an std test just in case.

iklboo · 10/10/2019 14:51

Did you mean to be so rude

CountSnackula · 10/10/2019 15:21

I don't know why you'd expect anything different when you let your washing get darked on. YABU.

Duckduckduck123 · 10/10/2019 15:27

Have you got your ducks in a row?!

MaryLane93 · 10/10/2019 16:59

Step away from the bath salts

FadedRed · 10/10/2019 17:06

Why have you got 7864 identical threads under slightly differing usernames Op? Just because you didn’t get the responses you wanted on the previous 8532 threads you posted on this very issue last week, doesn’t mean this one won’t say YABVVVVU

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 10/10/2019 17:20

Give your head a wobble OP!

Clearly a troll and I’m reporting this thread...

Neome · 10/10/2019 19:22

Sometimes only a Gin spa day A&E visit will fix things.
And to those very few posters who claim to think IABU I would say I heavily identify as the absolutely innocent victim in this scenario whatever MIL, SIL and the Waitrose manager allegedly saw on "CCTV".

DioneTheDiabolist · 10/10/2019 21:39

What's all this stuff about Spa Days anyway.Hmm Modern American imports, we never had spa days when i was young. They just weren't a thing before SATC.

ISmellBabies · 10/10/2019 21:53

I just need to point out that if the sexes were the other way round everyone would be giving the opposite advice. I am the only speshul poster who isn't totally a man hater and I'm totally fair and better than you all. Just accept he needs to do his totally outing hobby at dinner, bath and bedtime every day, and go on at least 10 stag dos a month and manage your OWN children ffs. You can't expect him to do parenting when you can do it instead.

cannotmakemymindup · 10/10/2019 21:59

Can everybody stop clutching their pearls please!

MrsMoastyToasty · 10/10/2019 22:03

Did you feed the twins naice ham and chunks of stunt pineapple?

DarkerShrimpVase · 10/10/2019 22:09

Ugh GRIM!
