AIBU?

AIBU to ask a completely vague (lighthearted) question?

Something happened.

It was very bad and someone else's fault, possibly their child, possibly their MIL.

It may or may not have involved a flooded basement.

I've considered storming into school and confronting the head, changing the locks and baking again from scratch, gluten free. AIBU?

Dont want to give too many details as it could give you the faintest idea of what I'm on about be outing. Asking for a friend.

Seriously forget taking in ironing- what a waste of time

Did I mention matched betting? Just do that! Easy peasy. I make £10000 a day doing it.

Don't answer the door or the phone. Fit a Ring doorbell and drink gin.

Why has no one suggested getting a cleaner?

And check 'hubster's' phone when he's asleep, obviously (if he ever checks yours though, that's abuse though!)

BUT WHO DOES THE MOST HOUSEWORK?

We need to know exact percentages broken down by room and cross-referenced with the days of the week, as well as the hours that each of you work each day. Once we have this information, we can crack out our clear acetate sheets and whiteboard pens to overlay all the information against the ideal ratios and make a determination as to whether your OH gets any say at all before he starts dusting the conservatory on Wednesdays.

OP, you really can't expect us to tell you whether your vet is BU without exact figures on the housework distribution.

I don't really understand the parking situation. Can you explain it again, with diagrams?

According to BACP offering lemon drizzle is a no-no but a tasteful black and white minge photo 10x magnification would be very appropriate for the the waiting area.

What about the lemon drizzle? And your minge?

Thank you to the poster who suggested counsilling. As I understand it its mostly doing a concerned , going hmm and never ever saying anything which might give away the faintest hint of what you think so perfect for me!

Much more fun than ironing and will help pay for the cleaner.

Oh FFS!!! Just put the effing ironing board where your effing legs meet and tell the teacher. You don’t need this right now... your MIL is probably on to your case and your DP , who is earning a fucking mint, clearly doesn’t care. Check your cookware for mites!

Honestly, I think you should phone 111 for some professional advice.
And whatever you do, DO NOT have a quickie in a locked bedroom while there are people younger than 18 in the house, even if they're in a separate room.

Well excuse me some of us are fortunate enough not to have to work (unlike my so called friend who is currently "at the doctor's") and consequently may be incommunicado for reasons - don't want to say more as completely identifying.

As if that wasn't enough the kitchen planner actually pointed out Ikea do a fold-out-from-a-base-unit-work-top-ironing-board. That's going to put the cat amongst the pigeons all over again.
