We've just been for a kickabout at the park and now home to put youngest down for a nap. I'm going to make everyone cheese on toast once I've got him off my boob.

KUGA · 06/10/2019 13:22

As little as possible.

firsttimemum30 · 06/10/2019 13:23

Just started my maternity leave, snacking and watching Netflix. Ignoring the fact the floor needs sweeping and mopping...

marblesgoing · 06/10/2019 13:34

Now time for a long soak in the bathGrin

Tyrotoxicity · 06/10/2019 13:42

Gossiping with and about the neighbours, mostly - one got carted off by the police a couple of hours ago.

Thehagonthehill · 06/10/2019 13:43

Slobbing, I'm still in my dressing gown on MN.I am ignoring the dishes in the sink.
I may be energetic later and potter in the garden.

TimeforanotherChange · 06/10/2019 13:47

It is wet and cold. Day appear to be revolving around food Smile.

We had bacon and eggs, and DH read the Sunday papers whilst I put some homemade soup on for lunch. Also put BBQ pork in the slow cooker.

Have put some laundry on, taken the dog for a brisk walk on beach, and gone for a coffee in a local cafe. Come home and had soup and crusty bread for lunch. Laundry in dryer - another load on.

I am lounging in front of log fire now intending to do nothing until I throw baked potatoes in oven later on to go with the pork. Will probably do roast veg with it as that takes little effort.

Laptop, book, glass of wine perhaps.

Verystressednurse · 06/10/2019 13:49

I've got loads of housework to do but zero motivation to do anything. Feeling depressed to be honest Sad

Its not quite ten am here, we are just finishing up the last of the coffee, brunch is done, and we are watching Test Kitchen.
Soon we have to clean the house, and then it's off to the beach for a bit of beachcombing.
Maybe finish painting a few signs.

Faez · 06/10/2019 13:56

Lovely weather but have a stinking cold so am in bed watching the waterboy with th dog, terrible film, worse than I remember.

TimeforanotherChange · 06/10/2019 14:03

@Verystressednurse - can you pick some basic housework that won't take too long? Get off the sofa, give yourself 30 mins max and throw a load of laundry on, pile the dishes in the sink with hot water, hastily clean the bath/sink - whip a hoover round front room and sit back down feeling smug.

That would do you for the day. I know how you feel when you've no motivation at all, but I've been there and at least you go to bed thinking, 'well...I got something done at least'.

WeirdCatLady · 06/10/2019 14:04

Baking my Christmas cake.

Pardonwhat · 06/10/2019 14:04

Applying for jobs and wallowing in my own self pity. I lost my job unexpectedly.
I’m planning to go and buy wine and make a pity-me Sunday dinner Wine

movecloser · 06/10/2019 14:05

Currently sat outside a sports shop having a coffee before I go in to get waterproof trousers for DD. I made H take the kids out this afternoon so that I could have a few hours to myself. He took on the task with the usual apathy and disdain. My marriage currently feels unsalvageable (this has been coming for a long time) and I'm wondering how we will get through our half term holiday. I've got an appointment with a divorce solicitor tomorrow. I just feel so sad for my children that their home may be broken; but I can't live the rest of my life miserable...

dontdoxmeeither · 06/10/2019 14:05

Heading for photos to be taken for publicity. Local am dram. I've got heavy makeup and a sixties beehive which won't last if this wind is anything to go by! DH cooking a roast for later Smile

Drabarni · 06/10/2019 14:07

Listening to dh and dd recording songs, my Sunday favourite.
Right makes me happy.

m0therofdragons · 06/10/2019 14:08

Dd2&3 playing, dd1 doing homework, dh on laptop. I'm considering going for a run. Can't really be bothered but have eaten crap so feel like I should.... right, that's it, I'm going to. I'll feel smug afterwards at least, then can enjoy a yummy guilt free roast.

BuildBuildings · 06/10/2019 14:10

I'm on my period. Its heavy and making me feel meh. So very slow day. My dp also has dihorrea so both a bit mopey. I have dyed my hair and made grilled sandwiches for brunch so that might be my productivity done. Also cleaned the shower while in there. Now on the sofa with a pot of tea. Got to travel to London for work tomorrow and stay overnight (250 miles) so trying to get some energy together by then. My periods are an absolute nightmare, anyone else have awful periods?

BuildBuildings · 06/10/2019 14:12

Aww love @movecloser I'm sorry to hear this. Don't feel like you're ruining things for the kids. I'm sure they would rather you be happy. Good look at the solicitors.

MrsJonesAndMe · 06/10/2019 14:32

We've been out to do an activity and then library, Tesco and lunch. Ironing for DH and I've done other bits. Now got the roast going.

Eminybob · 06/10/2019 14:38

Bugger all. Highlight of the day was going to Halfords to buy a car seat.
Looking forward to roast beef for tea later.

AtomicSquirrel3 · 06/10/2019 14:45

Full of cold and feeling like shit. DD full of cold too. Anyone fancy making me a brew? Wink

fatisnotafeeling · 06/10/2019 14:45

I am 11 weeks pregnant today and feeling real awful.

I have however, packed DD2s case as she is going on a residential tomorrow. I have hoovered and washed the floor, washed the bedding, dyed my hair and have done 2 hrs ironing. I am nearly finished but still need to put bedding back on and straighten my hair.

DD1 went out for the day and DH has taken DS to a bird show and stayed at FIL house last night.

I really want a roast but have nothing in for it and I do not have the energy to get dressed and go out and get the bits so it may be a takeaway tonight.

beela · 06/10/2019 14:45

Watched ds at a rugby tournament this morning, currently warming up and trying to summon the energy to tackle some housework and homework.
