Ben & Jerry’s have ruined their once fabulous ice cream!!

Not had Ben & Jerry’s for months, treated myself to the heavenly peanut butter cup flavour this evening. All good? Nope it tasted really really bad. And guess what it’s full of now ?

Not just palm oil but coconut oil too!

Why???

Can’t believe they are charging the prices they do for ice cream that’s now pretty much the same as the value branded stuff.

I miss the days before food was full of shite!!

I use to love Ben & Jerry’s cookie dough but last time I got myself a tub the cookie dough pieces were gritty!

I don’t buy it now......

Is coconut oil a cheap filler? It's a lot more expensive than double cream or butter, weight for weight in the supermarket at least. Probably has a lower environmental impact than either though.

Yabu. Ben & Jerrys has never been good. They only do child-like flavours. Never understood America's obsession with cookie dough.

Give me a grown-up flavour like pistachio. Best ice cream I ever had was homemade.

I got excited in Alton towers recently when I saw a vending machine selling small tubs of Chunky Monkey......but it was empty!

I haven’t had B&J in years but I cook with extra virgin coconut oil and I can’t even taste it in my cooking. Is there a difference between what I use and what factories use (aside from it prob not being extra virgin)?

Home made ice cream doesn't need a machine, just a whisk. Piece of piss. To buy: Taywells! Always felt nauseous off half the B and J flavours.
