Would you give your 8 ans 10 year old 4 month old baby food?

Oh right ok...

Just asked them and they said it's fruit ones. Surely buying a bunch of bananas for example is cheaper and healthier for grown up children.
My eldest doesn't like them but when she asks for fruit she gets given these.

From your OP I didn't know whether the baby food was 4 months old or whether it was food for 4 month old babies.

Coffeeandchocolate9 · 01/10/2019 17:02

It baffles why you care so much whether the fruit paid for and fed to your children by somebody else is whole fresh or pureed preserved (and preserving methods are so good these days that nutrients are very well retained). Unless of course it's not really about the fruit Hmm

1985mummymia · 01/10/2019 17:03

Oh lol sorry baby food gor 4 months.
Because as I said before it's weird to me, quite easy really

OP posts:
PennysPocket · 01/10/2019 17:39

Yes it's weird to you but not the worst thing in the world.

It is a fruit smoothy.
They have a much longer shelf life than fresh fruit so if the children don't visit often it's a good thing to have in stock.
It is healthier than a bag of crisps and works as an easy snack.

I think you are trying to find fault where none exist.

My concern is if you express this negative attitude about your ex and his gf in front of the children... It can be very damaging to them.

1985mummymia · 01/10/2019 17:47

Fair enough
Actually no I never say anything negative about them in from of my girls, not sure why you would say that iver a simple question.
I said I'm not happy about it because I dont agree personally, it's people in here that are trying to make it a big situation.
How can a question lead to the trolling going on here and trying to make me feel like an idiot?
At least this has been entertaining for me.
Some really funny answers have come up lol

OP posts:

If you feel like an idiot then that is down to you.
Posters have tried to give reasonable answers despite you poor attitude and vague question.

Have you ever heard the saying "the devil is in the detail"?

You accused poster's of gossiping when in fact they just asked for context.

Looking through it appears the majority don't believe offering children a fruit pouch as a snack is unreasonable.... But I don't think they are the answers you wanted to hear.

Grin oh my god! Ok.
I think this is an awesome site, you lot are great

@Wildorchidz must be some kind of mind reader. Now how did you get this... So your ex’s gf is giving them baby jars? What does your ex say? Presumably the children laugh at her?? from an OP of this... Would you give your 8 ans 10 year old 4 month old baby food?
Hmm

PennysPocket · 01/10/2019 22:26

I think some socks are loose on this thread.

zxcvhjkl · 01/10/2019 22:31

Oh this post is just ridiculous. To get answers to a question you have to ask a question with enough detail to be able to provide a response Confused How can you give an answer when you don't know the details?!

Would I give an 8 year old baby food? Depends what it is and why

Would I give an 8 year old a jar of spag bol baby food for dinner?
No, not unless that was all there was or they had SN.

Would I give an 8 year old a fruit pouch for a snack? Yes.

You see - different answers to different question. When you add context it changes the answer. It isn't rocket science FFS. Angry

Aprillygirl · 01/10/2019 22:52

Apart from perhaps the fruit jars I wouldn't opt to give a baby baby food, so no.
