Rinoachicken · 30/09/2019 15:51

Do you mean you want a dress identical to your baby daughter?

Drabarni · 30/09/2019 15:53

I'm not surprised Confused who wants to look like a baby, and what baby do you want to look plus size?

DrVonPatak · 30/09/2019 15:56

Oh, give over, both of you. It's not the end of the world, exactly, is it?

Sorry, OP, haven't got any suggestions, but I hope you find something and have some fun with your DD.

SuzieBishop · 30/09/2019 15:58

I think Next we’re doing something like that OP!

Divebar · 30/09/2019 16:02

I’m not sure they’re much of a thing in the UK. You might have more luck with companies in the US. I would probably look at Pinterest or maybe think about getting something made - try Etsy. ( but you may not get much help on AIBU )

Sallyseagull · 30/09/2019 16:05

Matalan also do matching outfits for the whole family, not sure what size they go up to.

Things like this seem popular at the moment so I'm surprised there arent more sellers doing a bigger range.

Windydaysuponus · 30/09/2019 16:06

Yabu unless you mean Christmas jumpers!

Venger · 30/09/2019 16:06

Matalan do a mummy and me range, it goes up to XL which is size 20-24 according to their website and the reviews all say the fit is big so probably would fit slightly over that size too.

Passthecherrycoke · 30/09/2019 16:08

Do you mean the occasions ones like xmas or Halloween? Facebook seem to have loads

BiggerThanBoo · 30/09/2019 16:09

Thank you to the helpful posters!

It's my babies first birthday soon and yes you might not think it cute (I wouldn't have done before I had her!) but I do want a matchy / similar outfit with her!

OP posts:
Venger · 30/09/2019 16:10

Try also Amazon and sites like wantthattrend.com

Passthecherrycoke · 30/09/2019 16:10

Want that trend, that’s who I was thinking of

LilouBlue · 30/09/2019 16:11

Lindy Bop do some I think?

FenellaMaxwell · 30/09/2019 16:13

If you must, next do them, it goes up to a 22, I think. I say this as someone who is overweight myself - do you not think it might look a bit silly?

PullingMySocksUp · 30/09/2019 16:14

I don’t think it’s the plus size part that’s the problem. But each to their own.

BiggerThanBoo · 30/09/2019 16:15

Maybe fenella but it's only going to be family and we're a silly bunch anyway 😂🙈

Dark Star Designs is a WAHM who would do this for you

Uponmytiptoes · 30/09/2019 16:25

Have you tried Frugi?

Witsendagain · 30/09/2019 16:30

Try Babipur, they have quite a fun range of matchy matchy from a company called Duns. Very colourful and all the sizes seem to run quite big!

ineedaholidaynow · 30/09/2019 16:47

Would you only wear it the once?

BarkandCheese · 30/09/2019 16:54

You could make something yourself. A line skirts and baby pinafore dresses are some of the simplest things to sew, look on YouTube or Pinterest for tutorials. Choose some funky fabric and make something unique for the two of you.

Mrsducky88 · 30/09/2019 17:01

Have a look at duns dresses on Babipur

Emelene · 30/09/2019 17:04

Juno jacks? Smile

DC3dilemma · 30/09/2019 17:06

Frugi or Duns OP, you should at least be able to get a top to match a dress/ dungarees. Alternatively it’s surprisingly cheap to get something made:
