AIBU to even think that I could actually BE pregnant and the test was right after all?

I am undergoing fertility treatment, not due to take my test until Friday (had to wait 2 weeks and 2 days). However I have felt so helpless that I caved and bought 2 tests.

Pink dye test from B&M - cheap at 2 for £1, then one clear blue.

I got a very very faint line on my clear blue but a negative on my pink one.

I am in a group on Facebook for people undergoing IU and IVF and the majority said that Clear blue tests are notorious for false positives and a web search does confirm this.

One minute I feel heartbroken, then the next I think "I could be!"

I am too scared to test again until Friday as I am happier not knowing for sure, than getting another negative :(

Anyone have experience of mixed results on certain pregnancy tests?

Today is official test day and I can't believe how strong this positive is!!

@jemimafuddleduck it was iui and on monday I was 13dpiui.

I'm feeling very sick already but that could be medication. I'm tempted to believe it could be more than one, but as lucky as I'm feeling right now, I dont think I'm that lucky!

My period is due next week, is there still a chance that could come and I'll be put or is this si.ply pregnancy now!
