AIBU to even think that I could actually BE pregnant and the test was right after all?

I am undergoing fertility treatment, not due to take my test until Friday (had to wait 2 weeks and 2 days). However I have felt so helpless that I caved and bought 2 tests.

Pink dye test from B&M - cheap at 2 for £1, then one clear blue.

I got a very very faint line on my clear blue but a negative on my pink one.

I am in a group on Facebook for people undergoing IU and IVF and the majority said that Clear blue tests are notorious for false positives and a web search does confirm this.

One minute I feel heartbroken, then the next I think "I could be!"

I am too scared to test again until Friday as I am happier not knowing for sure, than getting another negative :(

Anyone have experience of mixed results on certain pregnancy tests?

Aww I remember this so well from my own fertility treatment. It was actually dh that told me I was pregnant as I just could not look myself. So delighted for you 🥂

Today is the day, hour and a half until showtime!

I have been getting cramps and sudden pains now and again but no bleeding and my tests are still showing strong.

I am so very nervous! I am paranoid it will be an ectopic so I need all your positive energy sent my way!

This happened to me, clear blue was what looked positive but frer negative, I won’t use clear blue now there so bad, I’ve got my fingers crossed for you though 🤞🏼
