I’ve just made myself some salt and pepper on toast. First discovered as a poor student when literally all I had in the house was value white sliced bread, cheap margarine and salt and pepper. It’s very nice! I’m now 41 and I make it with nice bread and butter, Maldon salt and freshly ground pepper though Smile

Sometimes I like to eat a bit of stock cube too

Anyone else?

Pancakes with butter on top. No sugar or lemon or anything like that. :)

DorisDances · 18/09/2019 18:56

Most days for breakfast I have a hard boiled egg mashed up on a brown rice cracker,, topped with hot mustard and pickled red cabbage. I love it but my Dh & kids think its gross & weird.

Laska2Meryls · 18/09/2019 19:19

ultrablue oh yum.... . I used to buy cottage cheese, celery, marmite and crunchy peanut butter sandwiches from a great local sandwich shop, and they were divine. But blue cheese spread!!1 I am going to try that ( and I thoroughly recommend you try the celery with the marmite peanut butter combo

Verily1 · 18/09/2019 19:22

Cheese on roast beef.

HoppyHop · 18/09/2019 19:23

When I was about 8 we got our first microwave, it came with a cook book that included a 'recipe' (!) for streaming a very large onion in a bit of water then adding packet cheese sauce over it. Still love it now as my go to can't be arsed to cook meal (can't convert anyone else in my household though!).

suze108 · 18/09/2019 19:27

Marmite and boiled egg sarnies. With lots of pepper.

Dementornator · 18/09/2019 19:29

Salt and vinegar crisp sandwich, with mayo on the bread. Amazing. Also love jelly cubes and cinnamon toast crunch mixed with fromage frais

Swedetalker · 18/09/2019 19:31

Sweetdreamer93 · 18/09/2019 19:35

Cake mix...
Just a bag of cake mix mixed with egg and water then eat out of the bowl with a spoon. Blush

Ham, cheese and mincemeat (the Christmas type) sandwiches are amazing.

humanfemale · 18/09/2019 19:40

I spread thick butter and jam on weetabix and eat them as though they're a bit of toast.

Turquoisesea · 18/09/2019 19:44

I like eating dried pasta that’s only been in boiling water for about 2 minutes so it’s still crispy! Odd I know but I like the way it crunches!

BryanAdamsLeftAnkle · 18/09/2019 19:45

Pasta with salt and vinegar.... Food of the gods

FlamedToACrisp · 18/09/2019 19:52

Ohflippineck · 18/09/2019 19:55

Black burnt toast, left to go cold, spread with thick, cold butter and gentlemen’s relish.

BeepBeeep · 18/09/2019 19:56

Oh and mashed potato mixed with grated corned beef, fried until crispy on both sides then placed between slices of bread and butter.
Bloody lovely.
