I go into the office twice a week, leaving at 7 and getting home at 5/5.30 (working hours are 8-4). The other 3 days I work from home.

I don’t have any children yet - our first is due in December!

Me2you3 · 13/09/2019 17:10

Day starts at 6am, up with baby, leave house at 7.
Get home 6.30pm, often log back on when baby in bed at 7.30-9/10pm

Biggles398 · 13/09/2019 17:23

Leave at 15.45 and back at 02.30. I've been doing it since before my DD was born. Yes, serious lack of sleep, not putting to bed or helping with homework, but I get to do both school runs and see lots of my daughter during the holidays.

mrsp2009 · 13/09/2019 18:26

I work full time 36 hours per week (although often have to stay late due to nature of the job). My commute is 2 hours each way. I leave home at 7:10 and often don’t get home again until 7pm at the very earliest.
It’s really shit but a necessity at the moment to qualify in my field.
My child is 12

AufderAutobahn · 13/09/2019 18:30

Gosh, some of you are doing really long days. I thought I was a bit of a champ (ahem, martyr) leaving the house at 7.30 and returning between 6.30 and 7pm. Currently working three days a week and have one child who is almost three. I'm still always knackered. Confused
