I wanted to start a new thread because my previous one had a bit of a misleading title.

I'm in tears reading all your lovely comments in response! This is going to completely change my life and my family's too.

I'm not sure when I start as don't know my notice period so need to ask current employer for that.

The new job is a position in the events team for a city centre hotel chain. It's so exciting and is going to open up so many opportunities for me.

I'm just over the moon!!
