How many of you would vote Labour if we had a General Election, just wondering as there have been a few negative comments on here about Labour recently

OP posts:
RaininSummer · 02/09/2019 18:07

Not a chance of me voting Labour. No idea what to vote nowadays.

VeganVeganVegan · 02/09/2019 18:10

I would. I volunteer and do lot's of door knocking etc.

Firstworddinosaur · 02/09/2019 18:13

Labour.

M3lon · 02/09/2019 18:14

hmm just looked at the polling data. How can anyone, including Tory voters, be satisfied with a democracy in which the lead party has only 33% of the vote but this equates to 55% of the seats and a strong majority in the house of commons?

How are people okay with the fact that the LD will get half the number of votes and a tenth the number of seats?

How does the massive unfairness of this not get to the majority of voters (who are losing in this system!).?

Parky04 · 02/09/2019 18:20

Traditionally a Conservative voter but have voted Labour in the past. Will not vote for Corbyn in any circumstances.

pigeononthegate · 02/09/2019 18:24

I would vote Labour. And unlike in Tony Blair's time, I'd be doing it without a heavy heart.

Jesaminecollins · 02/09/2019 18:26

No General Election for now - well done Boris, now you have to deliver Brexit

TartanCurtains1 · 02/09/2019 18:29

In bloody Rees -Mogg seat here. No hope for us. Would vote tactically tho against Tories.

GirlsBlouse17 · 02/09/2019 18:42

I'm voting for Lib dems. They seem to be the only party that is offering a second referendum and a chance of stopping all this madness. I think we need to stop thinking of a two party system and the Libdems as a minority party.

If you want Brexit to continue then yes, go ahead and vote Conservative. If you want the chance to stop Brexit, then vote Libdem

greentheme23 · 02/09/2019 18:52

I will do what I did last time there was an election here and vote for the party that is against a no deal Brexit.

greentheme23 · 02/09/2019 18:53

Shame on people who don't vote. They got us in this mess in the first place.

MrsMattMurdock · 02/09/2019 19:06

How is that photo of Jeremy Corbyn saying we should be able to demonstrate against apartheid bad? I don't get it.

Happygilmorelove · 02/09/2019 19:14

Nor do I, in what way is the picture bad?

JustDanceAddict · 02/09/2019 19:18

I’d prob vote libdem - I cant see labour winning here and I can’t abode Corbyn or Johnson.

soapona · 02/09/2019 19:27

I would vote conservative but it's a waste of time in my constituency. I will would the Brexit Party. I want Brexit done and not delayed further.

soapona · 02/09/2019 19:29

Will be interesting a general election in the seats where people voted leave and their MP voted basically to remain in parliament.

Random18 · 02/09/2019 19:30

1 month ago it would not have been a voter Labour.

Now I am not so sure. I do not want to vote Labour, I do not want JC as PM.

But anything is better than Boris.

Let's get NO deal off the table - that is the only thing that matters.

MargiaStevens · 02/09/2019 19:45

I’m in a ridiculously safe Tory seat so would just go with whoever had the best chance of dinting the majority. It varies each election between LibDem and Labour.

soundsystem · 02/09/2019 20:53

No. I live in an extremely safe labour seat, with a Brexit supporting MP. Despite the constituency voting overwhelmingly to remain.

Would most likely vote Libdem as they're the best alternative here, but they'll never win so it does seem fairly pointless (and I say this as someone who always votes).

AnnaMariaDreams · 02/09/2019 20:56

I have always voted Conservative but would go LibDem this time.

BunchMunch · 02/09/2019 21:00

Conservative here.
DH voted leave, he always votes Labour but if they campaign for remain then he will vote Conservative, I think a lot of leavers will do the same.

Helmlover1 · 02/09/2019 21:08

I’ll be voting Labour. The tories need to go.

Daisychainsandglitter · 02/09/2019 21:12

I would want to vote Lib Dem but would vote Labour tactically to not allow the Tories in.

Violetparis · 02/09/2019 21:19

I'll be voting Labour.

HeyGepetto · 02/09/2019 21:23

I would vote Labour, but I have a LibDem/Tory swing seat, so will vote Lib Dem 🤷‍♀️
