How many of you would vote Labour if we had a General Election, just wondering as there have been a few negative comments on here about Labour recently

OP posts:
joystir59 · 04/09/2019 16:06

Labour. I'm a socialist.

Paddington68 · 04/09/2019 16:09

I can't understand how anyone can vote Tory.

averylongtimeago · 04/09/2019 16:13

There are things I don't like about the libdems- Corbyn isn't my favourite ever labour leader either-

BUT I will vote for whichever of the two gets this revolting dangerous right wing Tory party out.

Right here, right now, that is what matters

VapeVamp12 · 04/09/2019 16:19

Would never vote labour.

100% Tories.

Dontsweatthelittlestuff · 04/09/2019 16:20

If Corbyn truly cared about this country he would step down and make way for a labour leader who had a chance on winning an election.

I would only vote labour again if Corbyn was gone. But the simple truth is he won’t and so British politics is fucked for the foreseeable furture.

Alsohuman · 04/09/2019 16:24

Why @VapeVamp12? What haven’t you seen in the last 24 hours?

KennDodd · 04/09/2019 16:25

@VapeVamp12

What is it that the Tories have done, in say the last five years, that has made you think, yes, they've been good for the country and managed time in government well, I trust this good management to continue?

KennDodd · 04/09/2019 16:26

If Corbyn truly cared about this country he would step down and make way for a labour leader who had a chance on winning an election.

I agree.

VapeVamp12 · 04/09/2019 16:27

I'm fucking bored of Brexit and just want it done. If no deal is the quickest way, that's what i'm voting for.

SummerWhisper · 04/09/2019 16:29

Labour. Get the econony back on track, stop the Tories from selling the NHS to Trump and renationalise rail and utilities (and no student fees). No contest.

VapeVamp12 · 04/09/2019 16:32

Labour. Get the econony back on track

LOL at this.

Alsohuman · 04/09/2019 16:32

The Tories have been trying to get Brexit done for three years and failed. Why would you give them five more years to keep failing?

Lazybonita · 04/09/2019 16:36

Its very close between Labour and conservative in my area so though I would much rather vote Lib Dem or green I will hold my nose and vote Labour. It helps that our local labour MP is good and very pro remain.

Carrotcakeforbreakfast · 04/09/2019 16:38

Would never vote labour. Especially with that clown leading

" we must have a general election, a general election is what is needed, I suggest a general election" Corbyn.

Boris. Let's hold a general election.

Corbyn oh hell no. Cannot stand the tosser.

I would vote conservative.

Alsohuman · 04/09/2019 16:48

Do you not understand that Corbyn wants a general election but not before no deal’s off the table?

Carrotcakeforbreakfast · 04/09/2019 16:55

What I do understand is I would rather have my 89 year old neighbour running the country instead of Jeremy Corbyn.

The way I see it. It was voted for, just get on with it now. It is ridiculous.

The talk of the second referendum is massively irritating too.
We voted remain last time ( both DH and I)
If it was to be held again DH has said he wouldn't vote and at the moment I think I would vote leave.

The way the EU have handled it is disgusting. The far left remainers who tar the rest of us with the same brush need to have a word with themselves too.

IceCreamConewithaflake · 04/09/2019 16:56

I used to vote Labour but I CANNOT STAND Corbyn.
Liberals or Green will get my vote. Probably Liberal Democrat's.

Alsohuman · 04/09/2019 16:57

It’s Theresa May’s red lines that have messed up the negotiations and the EU has bent over backwards. And you’re seriously going to hand the Tories another five years to fuck it up? I despair.

Carrotcakeforbreakfast · 04/09/2019 16:59

Well let us just see.

I hope there is a general election.

Alsohuman · 04/09/2019 17:01

There’s definitely going to be a general election, let’s just hope people acquaint themselves with some facts before they vote.

SummerWhisper · 04/09/2019 17:06

vapevamp12 because of course it wasn't the Tories who lost the UK its triple A credit score...??!! The only government to do so. The economy has plummeted under this load of lounging scroungers.

Viticulture · 04/09/2019 17:25

I live in a safe tory seat, next closest party is the lib dems. I'll be voting labour even though we will have a random who gets about 34 votes total in my ward Grin

For the many not the few!

Alsohuman · 04/09/2019 17:39

Ah, I’m in the same position @Viticulture but I vote Lib Dem because I like seeing my MP’s face every time his majority gets smaller and the closest opposition grow a bit.

Oliversmumsarmy · 04/09/2019 17:57

I can't understand how anyone can vote Tory

Because the alternative is way worse.

If Labour by some fluke got in they would promise the world on money they hope to take from people who have worked damned hard to look after themselves and their families and whilst those that think that the wealth should be redistributed are whooping for joy those with the money will be on the ferries and planes out of here and the once joyful people will be left to pick up the bills

Those that think that wealth should be redistributed, how would you feel if it was your money, income, savings you had to share,

Random18 · 04/09/2019 18:43

Oliversmumsarmy - I think I will be better off under Labour. (And yes I do work heard and earn a reasonable salary)

If we have Tory no deal then we are all fucked and will be a lot poorer.
