I don't want a very 'cat name' although I get aslan and simber I'm leaning towards the more human names. As that's what our dog has

If he's anything like my tabby Oliver he'll be a gorgeous, snuggly, friendly, large boy with super-large feet, a bit dim, and only catch leaves. My Oliver got lost two houses away and when I located him the kids there didn't want to give him back.

Why not just name your own cat? It’s a more personal and nice thing to do.
