We are getting a kitten!! Much thought about have had cats before.
Weve got ourselves a little ginger boy.
And at this time of night it's just going round our heads!

Aslan
Archie
Simber

I don't want a very 'cat name' although I get aslan and simber I'm leaning towards the more human names. As that's what our dog has

I have a ginger cat called Pete. Here he is in all his glory.

Being a music fan we have Axl (Rose) and (Jeff) Buckley. How about something like that? Or something that links to an interest /hobby?

He’s so cute - I am very partial to a ginger! We have two and called them Archie and Angus. Here they are with their friend from next door who is called Hamish. As you can tell we seem to have a bit of a Scottish theme going on (although we are not in Scotland 😀).

Also... I have a cat, we named her Remy.
After a week or 2 my kids would call her Kit... for Kitten lol.
That's stuck and that's now her name.
Maybe wait until you've had the kitten a couple of days and see what you all end up calling him x

I'm on team William, he has a really look of a William and there is a huge range of nicknames you can derive from it.

My mum called her cat Dennis I named my cat Gus. Not typical "cat" names but they do suit them.
