Ha! @ArgumentativeAardvaark

When you decide with your partner you're going to TRY FOR A BABY that's exactly what it is!!!!! TRYING TO CONCEIVE whether it took me a month.. 2 months or 2 years!!!!
🙄😒

Lweji · 29/08/2019 08:45

The 2nd month i didn't test as early as I started the month prior but I got a negative and left it for a couple days and 1 week before I was due on I got a very faint positive... I then tested every single day for weeks!!!!!!

Did you test for pregnancy at around ovulation? What a waste of tests. Did you not look up how cycles work?

I'm afraid to ask how early you tested the first month. After your period?

Roozy123 · 29/08/2019 08:47

Thank you @BeingATwatItsABingThing

Conceiving my daughter took me 8... yes, 8 years!!
My son the 2nd month!!

No one knows my circumstances or situation and I thank you for seeing that person's comment was just rude and unnecessary.

I didn't realise you call it "ttc" when you've hit a certain amount of time and before that it's called some thing else!? 🙄
Xx

MyHeartIsInCornwall · 29/08/2019 08:48

Definitely 2 lines. Congratulations 🥳

Roozy123 · 29/08/2019 08:50

Why would I test a round ovulation @Lweji ???? Some people's comments on this thread are so bitter and negative it's unbelievable!!! Lol.

Yes... Thank you after trying for 8 years prior I understand how my cycle works.

The 1st month I was testing from 8dpo.
"What a waste of tests" - I'm so sorry you paid for them.... oh no... wait 🙄

EleanorReally · 29/08/2019 08:50

i dont see it i am afraid.
but best of luck

Roozy123 · 29/08/2019 08:51

Also.... if you actually READ MY COMMENT which was a reply to someone else I'm explaining how I agree it's not good to test early!!!!!!
What is wrong with some of you, honestly.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 29/08/2019 08:52

Roozy123

I conceived DD1 whilst on the pill and now struggling to conceive DC2. Just because it happens one way with one doesn’t mean it will be the same for another.

This thread is really depressing me. I can see lines but I accept that others may not be able to. The posters who are all jumping over each other to drag someone else down are not helping anyone. Offering the OP advice and honesty is not bad but the delivery could be better.

Roozy123 · 29/08/2019 08:56

I agree @BeingATwatItsABingThing
I posted my story in a reply to another lady who had expressed that testing early van cause uneeded upset etc. Which I was saying i agree with and can.relate to... I didn't realise I would get jumped all over because THIS TIME it took 2 cycles.
I'm blessed and so beyond lucky it didn't take me as long with my 2 other children !!! As that broke me, hence why I do tend to test early and it controls me because all I wanted was to be pregnant!

I don't understand In the slightest why any one had to be negative or jump on anyone's comments with negativity...
I agree, all OP asked was can you see a line. That was it.
What a very negative thread on something so sensitive and what can be exciting. X

foreverblessedbee · 29/08/2019 09:00

Any updates op? Amidst all this bickering I hope I havent missed a post from the opConfused

Roozy123 · 29/08/2019 09:01

I come back on the thread for an update too this morning... not realising while I slept my comment was being dragged lol.

I hope all is well OP ... update if/when you can Flowers

Lweji · 29/08/2019 09:01

The 1st month I was testing from 8dpo.

I'm sorry, but doing maths from what you had said earlier (testing later than at month 1, then waiting a couple of days, then testing again 1 week pre-period) would put your ovulation shortly after your period or a 5 week period instead of 4.
In any case, there are about 14 days between ovulation and period. So, 8dpo would put you at 6 days pre period. There's no way you'd test 8dpo then wait days then still have a week before period was due.

Roozy123 · 29/08/2019 09:04

@Lweji
Omg lmao. You're hilarious .... honestly.

I tested at 8dpo the first month..... all negative the whole time.

2nd month I tested 6dpo negative. 10dpo positive. I then had 7 more days until I was due. Is that okay??? Are you happier now you know more about my cycle and life.

Would you like to know if my periods are regular and how many days im on for? What pads I use??

Roozy123 · 29/08/2019 09:06

6dpo inconclusive. Not negative not positive. So in theory started from 10dpo. **

Roozy123 · 29/08/2019 09:08

What has my life come to that at gone 9am in the morning I'm having to explain when I took my pregnant tests to a stranger on the internet 🤔😂😂

NoDontLookAtMeImShy · 29/08/2019 09:10

They look positive to me, but they are incredibly faint.

Best of luck.

ssd · 29/08/2019 09:12

All the pics have a red line is that what you're looking for?

pandarific · 29/08/2019 09:24

I'm a bit Confused at all the 'it's a chemical pregnancy'. My lines were faint too, and never got that dark, certainly not as dark as the main line. It's certainly a possibility, but I think it's a bit much to say the lines should look a certain way because it can vary so much just due to ovulating late or things being a bit out of kilter this month.

bluebell34567 · 29/08/2019 09:35

ssd they are trying to be sure 2 red lines on each applicator, 1 is strong but 1 is faint to see. so they are asking can you see the faint one.

Lweji · 29/08/2019 09:36

My first post was in relation to your first statement:
The 2nd month i didn't test as early as I started the month prior but I got a negative and left it for a couple days and 1 week before I was due on I got a very faint positive... I then tested every single day for weeks!!!!!!

Which is different from your second statement. I can't possibly guess which is true or that you'd change the story.

I tested at 8dpo the first month..... all negative the whole time.
2nd month I tested 6dpo negative. 10dpo positive. I then had 7 more days until I was due. Is that okay???

And, actually, not ok. It would make it 17 days between ovulation and period, but it's 14.
It seems that you're confusing fertile period with ovulation.

The fertile period starts before ovulation because sperm lasts a few days.

Roozy123 · 29/08/2019 09:39

@Lweji

What is your problem????
You look insane right now?

Maybe you should look into your life and see what you're lacking to be on the internet questioning other women's cycles , pregnancy test dates, the days they ovulate WITH 0 CLUE ABOUT THEIR HEALTH, HISTORY OR SITUATION!!!

This is the most bizarre thing I've seen a person do - why are you so so bothered and invested in my comment!? That wasn't even to you but about the uneeded hurt and upset testing early can cause.... you look nuts!!

janetheimpaler · 29/08/2019 09:41

No such thing as a false positive, only a false negative. congratualations

IHateUncleJamie · 29/08/2019 09:46

It’s “FAINT” in this context, not “feint”. /rant

@MrsA2015 any update this morning? Tbh I can only see two lines (one very faint) on one photo. The rest look to me like one line.

However, I hope I’m wrong and that you are pregnant. Keep us posted.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 29/08/2019 09:46

The average is 14 days between ovulation and AF. There could be more or less.

Roozy123 · 29/08/2019 09:48

@BeingATwatItsABingThing

Thank you lol.

I've clearly met someone on the internet that knows more than my own doctors and myself about my own body .. when I ovulate and my period!!! Lol.

So bizarre
