If your 22 month sleeps through the night....

AIBU to ask...
What time do they wake up, what time do they nap and how long for? What time do they go to bed?

Bed at 7 every night. Up just before 7 every morning . Nap at crèche for 1.5 hours at 1pm every afternoon. We kept the same at weekends

just turned 2 years old but routine has been the same for a while:

up between 6/6.30am
nap after lunch c.12.30pm- for 1-2hrs max
bed at 7pm- most nights, 7.30pm latest

Bed anytime between 7 and 8.30 depending on mood. She's normally awake between 7 and 8 but normally it's 7.30. She naps around 11 in the morning for a couple of hours

My 5 and 3 year olds still don't sleep all night so I'm no help sorry! Only stuck my nose in to say please don't worry if your little one isn't either! I stressed and worried that we were so abnormal from when dc1 was about 6 months. I had loads of advice, none of it worked. I wish someone had told me not to sweat on it.

We bought a bigger bed in the end so they just creep in themselves at night and we all sleep well.

We dropped all naps with dc2 at about 18 months so it wasn't that. They just like someone close. Since we gave up and didn't fuss about bringing them into us we have the easiest bedtimes of anyone we know. They just get into bed and go to sleep - we all know they'll be with us at some point in the night but I don't worry now

Both of mine started sleeping through around 2.5.

Also stopped napping around the same time. They did it themselves.

It gets easier, I promise.

At that age 7.30 until 7 ish and napped for 2-3 hours.

23 month old.

Wakes between 6.30/7am
Naps 12.30-2.30
Bed 7.30pm

I don't let her nap later than 3pm.

Bed at 6pm up at 7am, same for 4 year old actually, although he'd sleep longer but younger one wakes him! He's just stopped napping (same age as older brother did!) but when he napped they'd both go to bed at 6.30.

Both fast asleep by about 6.15 most days. They love sleep and are pretty difficult the next day if they go to bed much later, it's a bit crap with things like going out for dinners, visiting cousins who go to bed much later, but it's not forever! And really nice to have the evenings!

Slightly younger (20 months). Usually he falls asleep at 8.30, wakes up just before 7, and nap starts somewhere between 12.30 and 2 for a couple of hours.

Mine is 22 months. Awake around 6am, naps for 2 hours late morning / early afternoon, bedtime at 7.30.

Recently I discovered that her nursery has been keeping her awake all day (no naps) but I'm going to ask that they reintroduce naps as my DD seems to suffer without them.

Wake any time between 6am-8am (we wake him up at 6:45am for nursery if he's not up already).

Most days he naps between 11:30/12 and we dont let him sleep much past 2.

Go up to bed at 7, story a couple of songs then he settles himself down to sleep at around 7:30.

20 months old.

Bed at 8. Wakes around 6.50. Sleeps about 45 min at nursery from 12.30, or 1 hour 45 min at home from around 1. Nursery still tires them out so they seem ok to catch up on longer naps on the 3 days they are home (never sleeps longer at night though)

At 22 months-

Up between 6-7
Nap 12-2ish
Bed 7

Mines is 27 months but it's been the same routine since about 18 months.

7:00 - wake up & breakfast
11:30 - lunch
13.30 - 15:30 - nap
16:30/17:00 - dinner
18:30 - bath
19:00 - bed

And that's him through to the morning.

Mines a bit younger but after a horrific regression we're back to

Wake 6-7am
Cat nap occasionally at 9.15am
Nap 12.30pm (1-2 hours, no sleep past 3pm)
Bed 6.30-7pm

23 months here. Up between 6.45 and 7.30, nap at 1, up between 2.40 and 3.15, bed just before 8.

2 and a bit DS, goes to bed at 7pm, wakes up around 6ish, has a 1h15 nap after lunch.

Up between 630-7

Naps around 1230 around an hour but sometimes an hour and a half.

Bed 7pm

My ds is just 3 an he doesn't nap. And my dD is just 2 - she has an hour before anytime before 1if she wants one but if She doesn't sleep before 1 we won't sleep at all or else we have no bedtime sleep lol. But at Half 6 they watch in the night garden with their supper and a glass of milk then once they've listened to the bed time story they give goodnight kisses and go up to bed an will sleep until around 7-8am. I think the half hour chill before bed makes them ready for sleep x

22 month old goes to bed between 7 and 7.30 and wakes up around 7.30. He naps for 1-2 hours from about 11am.

My 22 month old does NOT sleep through. And yet looking at these it seems that we are on much the same schedule.

Up at around 7 (could be half hour either way)
Nap 12.30/1 - 2.30/3 - Only for 2 hours MAX and not later than 3
In bed about 7.30pm. Sometimes straight to sleep, other times will chat to his toys a bit before dropping off.

Always goes to sleep and for naps without issue. But we are still up at least once, if not twice every night. He was a shit sleeper from birth, about 10 months old cracked it and from 10-14 months he went all night most nights. Since a holiday and a viral bug that lasted a while it's been crap again. He needs a drink and a cuddle to settle.

22 month

I don't let her nap later than 3pm.

18 months old, bed at 6-30 and up between 7/8am

Oh nap from 10-30 untill half 12

22 months.

Bedtime is 7, usually asleep by 7.30 (self settles). Wakes around 7 to 7.30am and plays in cot usually until we go and get her

I’m aware how amazing this is as she was up at least once a night until a month or 2 ago. Also aware it could all be taken away at any time!
