And. Any particular model you would recommend?

AO.com have been good with delivery...tried to take away a machine that I hadn't paid to take away so didn't let them! And I installed it myself!

Wolfcub · 17/08/2019 21:46

John Lewis were amazing with mine would really recommend and overall the cost was less than others for the model I wanted

loutypips · 17/08/2019 21:46

Had a couple of things from so. They were really good. Delivery guys were nice, and took all the packaging away after installing.

loutypips · 17/08/2019 21:46

Ao not so!!!

Chipsahoy · 17/08/2019 21:47

Another vote for ao or John Lewis. Both fab

Redcrayons · 17/08/2019 21:48

AO were great.

chickenyhead · 17/08/2019 21:48

AO were fantastic, did everything and quick. Plus any issues resolved easily. Really cant rate them highly enough x

cauliflowersqueeze · 17/08/2019 21:49

John Lewis and Bosch

PancakeAndKeith · 17/08/2019 21:49

Are you sure you need them to install? It’s ever so easy to do.

As for taking the old one away I just left mine at the top of the drive for the scrap metal men.

TheBadCop · 17/08/2019 21:50

John Lewis and Bosch here too

Silvercatowner · 17/08/2019 21:50

John Lewis were great - they take away the old machine and will plumb in the new one IF the connectors are like for like. But it is a really easy job to connect a new machine - you literally just unscrew the hoses off the old one and screw them to the new one.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 17/08/2019 21:51

Just did that with Currys

AnneKipanki · 17/08/2019 21:51

Boots
Get points too .

AO did ours when I was heavily pregnant and the washing machine broke.
Even my dad (who never thinks any good can come from the internet) used them in a pinch and raved about them to me for days (after he got the original rec from me!)

Another vote for AO. They turned up at 7.30am on a Saturday morning, installed the new machine and took the old one away, along with all the packing. They were done and gone in about half an hour.

cubed123 · 17/08/2019 21:57

Not AO! big no no...let me down on 2 occasions. 1st time told me piping to original machine was wrong so they couldn’t fit it , I had to call plumbers to do it at extra cost.
But I still tried them again last year and this 2nd time delivery guy tried to tell me they were gonna leave the machine and I could go get the part needed to fit it myself. I told them no. Rearranged the delivery, took another day off for it then the machine wasn’t on the van! Time wasters! I used Curry’s in the end - smooth process.

Never again for AO!! And I tell anyone who will listen too lol

OhioOhioOhio · 17/08/2019 21:57

Really, really helpful. Thanks. Yes I need installation. I will be at work.

How much is a fair enough price for something decent?

NotSuchASmugMarriedNow1 · 17/08/2019 21:57

Nearly all companies deliver, install and take the old one away. Try a local company.

NotSuchASmugMarriedNow1 · 17/08/2019 21:58

An entry level Miele would cost about £600, plus delivery/installation/take old one away.

Treaclepie19 · 17/08/2019 21:59

AO here too. Used them a few times and always had brilliant service.

cate16 · 17/08/2019 21:59

I used a local independent man, he price matched with AO. Miele.

Nanny0gg · 17/08/2019 22:00

John Lewis and AO
