To let them kill each other?

Endless school holidays. Children - constantly bickering and trying to kill each other.

WIBU to just let them get on with it so I can have some peace & quiet?

We could all meet at soft play and have some sort of hunger games type fight to the finish.

I say this. I have an only child. I’m bringing the kitten too though.

I had to put myself and the children all in separate rooms yesterday to calm down so I feel you.
6 weeks is so long. We have peaked, I've run out of money, patience and fucks to give! If I hear “mummmmmmm he’s done xyz” one more time I might burst.
I’m sure il miss the little devils when we go back to work and school though.

I like the hunger games idea Grin. We could do it in a dense forest and give them all some breadcrumbs to mark their way. And then send the kitty in to eat the crumbs 😈😈.

I feel you. My youngest isn't really old enough to be much of a problem, but my 5 year old has been a nightmare. If we both survive until back to school I will be surprised.

Oh I agree with everything everyone has said 🤦🏻‍♀️, the money has gone! Boredom has kicked right in! Fights minutely! (No breathers) I hate the 3rd week! Kids are out of routine, when I suggest taking them to the park " it's boring" suggest another park "that's to far" (I drive it's about 10-15 mins away) they are sick of looking in supermarkets, then bickering about who's pushing the bastard trolley!!!!

I feel for all of you!! My kids are pretty good on the holidays and I enjoy them off but this year has been the most difficult one yet! Hormones I'm going with too 😖😖😫 not long now guys not long 😉

My mum always punished us both immediately for fighting, no matter who started it or why. It worked a treat.

Mine went back to school today. I honestly was a bit giddy with the relief. Work colleagues asked me if I was ok. Our summer has been long and full of fighting.

Kids! Why do we have them....lol! I heard as they were driving away with my dad this morning, she's just called me a 'thief'. This crime was due to my 9 year old wearing my 11 year old's second favourite swimming costume last week when they went swimming and now because she wanted to wear it today. (They left last weeks costume in their bag, stinky & wet,yuck!) Due to this, 9 year old is a thief for not mind-reading and pre-empting that 11 year would want to wear it today.

My dad just shook his head and laughed as he drove away with them as I look confused.

My Dad used to do boxing and occasionally they'd get lads who weren't getting on to spa, so they'd learn a bit of respect for each other so he had this genius idea once of letting us fight it out in a controlled way, so he gave us some pipe lagging (like pool noodles) and drew a circle on the floor, aim was to push each other out the circle.

Turns out ideas like that only work on disciplined teenagers, DB and I turned it into a full on hair pulling, biting fight in less than a minute.

@user1463178569 - DD1 had a major meltdown this morning, as she insisted DD2 take off her trousers and let DD1 wear them. DD2 refused, as they're her trousers that she was wearing, but DD1 was having none of it. Sigh.

Oh OP I could've written this myself.

Currently sat in bath with whole bottle of wine and iPad and not moving.

My "DS's" 9 & 7 have peaked this week Angry constant bickering.
Today has been immense, my fault, double planned friends play dates/childcare (we all help each other out for work) I thought one was following week so sucked it up.
2x 12yo who moan about younger being in their space, but at same time enjoy winding them up Confused

I found a fantastic tip to instantly stop arguments. Tell them the next person who opens their mouth to argue gets a chore to do.
I was so close to getting upstairs vacuumed earlier but they stopped arguing.
