... to not say anything

NC for this one.
20 weeks pregnant, lost my job three months ago and money is tight. Maternity allowance won't kick in for another 7 weeks.
Been offered a job interview next week (2 stage process) an hour away from where I live and am currently car-less so it will be a big effort to get there. Industry I work in generally has a 6 month probationary period so I could get canned at any time.

I am showing a bit but generally just look a bit tubby.
Do I say anything at interview?? Gut instinct says no but not sure I need the stress of being let go again (on top of taking legal action against former employer) so part of me wants to decline but I know that isn't wise.

Thoughts?

If you went for the interview you run the risk of being fired within the probationary period anyway. Personally I think you’ve nothing to lose by being upfront and honest, you never know that might be something they admire in a potential employee. I know it’s a tricky one and I know that the majority would say don’t tell them but I can’t imagine many employers would be happy with someone telling them their new employee is 20 weeks pregnant. I think it would piss most of them off.

@CoughSplutter start date would be mid September which means I’d be working for a maximum of 10 weeks, and DP has to work away for a time so would need to be near home to pick up DC, just feels like too much stuff stacked against me. And I do feel guilty about going to interview and not saying anything. Need to preserve my emotional resilience for the tribunal!

Could you do some temporary work even if it is just admin / office support to get some cash in?
