To wonder how KFC are still in business?

Me and dh were really hungry and tired and saw a KFC and bought a bucket special. I like the occasional McDonald's, but the KFC was just not very nice, especially the fries, which were inedible. I so wish I'd not bothered.

The chips are gnarly as fuck now and taste almost healthy. That's not what I want!

Had one a little while ago, spicy rice and hot wings, it was good

It all just tastes of salt to me. I like MacDonalds, but KFC is rank.

I only go for their popcorn chicken mmmmmmm

I tried kfc once. Once was enough and I have no idea why people buy it.

My only consoling with KFC is they don't seem to be able to count and the bucket is always one or two pieces short. We get one to share and it's a running joke whose turn it is to go without.

Hit the jackpot last time though and got one extra.

It's not like it was in the 80s that's for sure. I always find if I get three bits one is lovely and the other two not do nice. I think they use different coatings on different parts. The chips are awful l. Used to be lovely. Again 30 years ago.

Kentucky fried monkey or it could be chicken from a lovely wuvly battery farm full of horror and cruelty . Soaked till slimy and fried to buggery.

Love KFC! A lot depends on each branch though I find.

YABU Not every store is the same, just because you came across a bad batch at one outlet. Their chicken is delicious. And their potato and gravy. It's obvious why they're still in business.

It definitely depends on the branch you buy from. We have at least two in our area. The nearer one is rubbish. I never used to like KFC, having only had it in Chessington WOA and that branch.

DC bought some at the further away branch. OMG. Now I get the love

£500 million a year is how they are in business

Also, the gravy with the new mash. Dear God it's good.

I hate the new chips. I’ve stopped eating it since they changed them because it’s just not the same. Other people seem to love them though.

I like the new chips. I don't tend to go there much but I do like the zinger ricebox and the salad with the spicy chicken strips. It's actually decently spicy. I confess I like the popcorn chicken too!

I love the boneless chicken. I do not like the new fries at all.

Not a KFC fan. The chicken is greasy, dry and boring. They sell Pepsi or artificial sweetners, and water literally does not mix with that level of grease. The salad is rife with horrid little bits of sweetcorn to have to pick out tediously one by one (I have soya intolerance so avoid burgers because of the bread buns)

Worst is the lack of table cleaning. Several branches nearby regularly have filthy tables and floors with no sign of anyone cleaning up. You can go into a near empty one and there is not a single clean table to choose from.

McDonalds is vastly better and the staff are on the ball with cleaning up.

I love kfc,but pretty much every time I go there,they get my order wrong..
I was really in the mood for one the last time I went,really looking forward to getting home and tucking in..
Got all the way home and yet again something missing...
My stupid fault for not checking before I left..
I was that pead off,I drive back had a chat with the manager and he gave me my money back plus another back of very hot fresh food and straw thrown in....
Felt guilty for complaining as not in my nature but hey ho you have to sometimes 🤐

The new chips are horrid. I hate skins on chips. I love the chicken though.

I can't fathom how they manage to ruin their chips. It can't be that hard to get right.
