I think suicide is entirely likely. What did he have to live for? A trial with all his dirty secrets exposed and the rest of his days fearing for his life in prison.

At the very least, prison guards (perhaps paid off) turned a blind eye to his suicide. If he’d tried to commit suicide two weeks ago—and given it was such a high profile case—he should have been monitored 24/7.

His lawyers would be able to release info if he was done away with. If someone knows too much their death doesn't make problems go away. Most likely staged suicide so he was released from prison, new identity given and relocated to lubed a life off the radar in South America.

The photo isn't him!! People have lined up a side by side of him before death and on the stretcher, and the hair, eyebrows, nasal folds, nose and wrinkles are all wrong!! I wish I could share it here but obviously I can't.

I always read that sex offenders are terrified in prison because they're so detested but that doesn't make a huge amount of sense to me considering how many other prisoners will also be sex offenders and presumably they're housed together for that reason. I bet most sex offenders don't think they've even done anything wrong.

I believe he had been luring powerful men to his island, filming them with the underage girls he'd provided them with and then he blackmailed the men.

Some say he was smuggled out the back door and a dead homeless man was put in the body bag. Most agree he was murdered.

Epstein was very arrogant and would have believed he'd beat the rap again. He expected his 'friends' to come to his rescue again. I don't think he would have killed himself before the trial. Not before. He would have sung like a canary first.

Prince Andrew has been linked to this for years. Absolutely no way do I think that this was suicide. He hadn’t been tried yet!!.

Think, Princes Diana, David Kelly etc. Our intelligence services can make anything go away especially if connected to the Royals.

Didn't this person have a failed suicide attempt a couple of weeks ago? Surely that strongly suggests that he was self harming rather than murdered.

In response to those comments about sex offenders getting attacked, from my experience as a volunteer prison visitor about 20 years ago true sex offenders and child molesters and bent cops were all kept in a separate section to minimise other prisoners getting their hands on them.

He had every reason to top himself but it's very convenient. And I think it's a realistic possibility that he wasn't being watched as well as he should've been on purpose.
