To have fallen in love with princess Charlotte and her mother?

I’ve always been neutral when it comes to the royals. Didn’t even watch the wedding(s).

But the a clip of Princess Charlotte cheekily poking her tongue at the public and her mother’s reaction is delightful.

The DoC seems to be blossoming into her role as future queen and this little interaction with daughter and public absolutely makes me melt!

I agree OP it was a bit cheeky and the interaction was cute! She is adorable, I think she’s a beauty, and so is her mum. I like that she has a bit of personality!

SunshineCake · 09/08/2019 17:49

Catherine's response was fine. If she'd told her off obviously in public people would have criticised her.

MarieIVanArkleStinks · 09/08/2019 17:49

A stranger's kid? (And one who needs to be taught that sticking her tongue out at strangers is rude)?

Yes, YABVU.

Thoughtlessinengland · 09/08/2019 17:51

Wow. A thread about a 4 year old sticking out her tongue.

Phimma · 09/08/2019 17:52

How can you fall in love with a child and woman you dont know personally?

IvanaPee · 09/08/2019 17:53

@MarieIVanArkleStinks do you expect a four year old to just know not to do something?

I was still teaching mine certain things at 4z

Dorigen · 09/08/2019 17:53

Not cute at all. Not atrocious behaviour, of course, but laughing and encouraging it won’t do that child any favours

^^ this.

fergusthefrog · 09/08/2019 17:56

I agree OP, it was so cute

Iamthewombat · 09/08/2019 17:57

Hahaha! Yes, anybody criticising fabulously rich former Greek monarchs is clearly bitchy and arse clenching, or whatever it was, and must be censured. I’m sure that pretend crown prince Pavlov will reward your loyalty with the Royal Order of the Taromasalata next time he invites you into his yacht.

TheBigBallOfOil · 09/08/2019 17:57

YABU. My children were much cuter at that age. Also better behaved.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 09/08/2019 17:58

We’d all have a permanent relaxed smile on her faces if we didn’t have bills mortgages etc etc to worry about.

SoupDragon · 09/08/2019 18:00

PMSL at a "gracious" 4 year old.

LocalHobo · 09/08/2019 18:01

when we do see them, they're posted all over the internet for people to discuss and judge whatever it is they happen to be doing, saying and wearing like on this very thread
As we are paying for their lifestyle, I think the British taxpayer is entitled to do this.
It is great that some people find this 4 year old endearing. It is not an opinion shared by all.

SabineUndine · 09/08/2019 18:01

I think you should grow up and find something more useful to be interested in.

mrscampbellblackagain · 09/08/2019 18:01

I assume she will have been told off afterwards but Kate was hardly going to put her on the naughty step in front of everyone.

She is just 4 and who knows what she was responding too.

BertrandRussell · 09/08/2019 18:02

“Catherine's response was fine. If she'd told her off obviously in public people would have criticised her.”

They wouldn’t, you know. A slightly reproving look would have gone down brilliantly in the “she’s just like us” stakes.

Skyejuly · 09/08/2019 18:03

It made me smile
I didnt think it was bad. Catherine looks natural.

SoupDragon · 09/08/2019 18:04

Like posting a response on threads like this...?

mrscampbellblackagain · 09/08/2019 18:04

And this is why I assume they keep their children as private as possible. But lucky so many on here had such well behaved 4 year olds Wink and parented in front of millions so perfectly.

SabineUndine · 09/08/2019 18:05

@soupdragon Or getting at people you disagree with.

LaurieMarlow · 09/08/2019 18:06

Does anyone else think Charlotte’s starting to look like Pippa?

TheBigBallOfOil · 09/08/2019 18:08

My dc at four knew pulling tongues at strangers was rude, including ds who has ASD and therefore social impairments.
So yes, I do judge. Got to get some value out of these parasites haven’t I?

Mybestfriendisanalien · 09/08/2019 18:08

Does anyone else think Charlotte’s starting to look like Pippa?

Can’t say I see it myself. But she does look startlingly like QE2.

The Queen I mean. Not the boat.

Cyclemad222 · 09/08/2019 18:12

She's a child. No better or worse than any other, which is why the monarchy is a ridiculous pile of balls.
