HELP!! Engagement ring lost in Archway, NW London. Any advice??

Absolutely devastated, lost my beautiful engagement ring today. Wondering if somehow Mumsnet can work her magic to help me find it.

I went to Dowe’s Gym for an hour and then went to the metro convenience store next to the Subway. Attached pictures here also.

Please please please let me find it Sad

Also if anyone has ever lost one, please help me feel better about it Sad

Have called the gym and the shop, no sign of it, though the man in the shop was quite rude Confused

Are you an Twitter. Tweet some and tag some of the radio stations in London and the train people ( I’m not British so don’t know what they are called). My colleague lost some thin valuable before and a famous radio show in Dublin helped him get it back.

So I went to the gym, was working out with my brother but it kept slipping so I asked him to put it in his pocket. We left there, popped to the shop where he bought a protein bar and then he got on the 143 bus to Highgate and I headed to Kentish Town. Only remembered I hadn’t got it off him when I was on my way to Kentish Town so I texted him and he checked his pockets, it wasn’t there Sad

I lost my engagement ring in a car park in my local town. I never got it back. I hope you find yours. I'm still devastated about it and it will be two years in November since I lost it Sad

Report it to the police, for sure. That's the single most important thing to do. Was it insured? I hope so. Mine wasn't, as it needed to be listed as a single named item with a separate valuation and it wasn't.
