HELP!! Engagement ring lost in Archway, NW London. Any advice??

Absolutely devastated, lost my beautiful engagement ring today. Wondering if somehow Mumsnet can work her magic to help me find it.

I went to Dowe’s Gym for an hour and then went to the metro convenience store next to the Subway. Attached pictures here also.

I lost mine once. Well, actually I didn't lose it, I took it off to have a shower and for some stupid reason DH picked it up and put it in his pocket - and then went to work!

Funnily enough, I actually didn't realise it was missing for a good few days but when I did panic mode set it. I looked everywhere I normally leave it and then turned the house upside down (sneakily because I didn't want to tell him I'd lost it!) after a weekend of searching I gave up - assuming I'd accidentally left it in a pocket, washed it and it was left behind in the machine. The machine that packed in over that weekend and been tipped! I ended up on argos and ordered myself a new one. It didn't even look remotely like my original and guess what, did DH notice? Did he bollocks!

I then found my original a week later in the new washing machine after washing all of his work clothes! His face was a picture when I presented him with my 2 engagement rings and asked him to explain himself! He's never been allowed to touch any of my rings since, bloody magpie!

Stupid thing! It said error! 🙄

This has cheered me up no end today!!

I lost the diamond out of my engagement ring at a bowling alley but my DH found it under my seat on the floor my MIL lost her diamond out of her engagement ring crashing into the backyard fence test riding her new motorcycle when my husband was a young boy. I am so glad it was found

Reunited! @hardheadedwoman is an actual saint! I understand it’s very hard to believe but don’t doubt this amazing deed that she did for me today! In true MN fashion I left her with a bottle of wine and a box of fudge (DP said a bottle of gin would have been too weird )
