We have arrived after long journey and are hot and grumpy and tired.
AIBU to think landlord CF who doesn’t want us to use the WiFi? Here is the code- would be grateful for any guesses...

God, I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate those long wifi codes in holiday cottages. I thought it was going to be an actual cryptic code then. 😁

Last letter might be a "z" not a "g"

BungleIsTheNextIt · 27/07/2019 22:32

Oh, wait I thought you meant you couldn't read it!! It's been a long day Grin

Notageek · 27/07/2019 22:35

Can you find the router ? It may be printed on the back / bottom or be on a card ?

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 27/07/2019 22:50

@dementedpixie are you French?

OP posts:
mumsiedarlingrevolta · 27/07/2019 22:51

And thanks all- DH and I tried each suggestion and felt better each time it wasn’t us!!!

OP posts:
dementedpixie · 27/07/2019 22:51

No. But is not French, it's just an old fashioned way of writing letters

notso · 27/07/2019 22:53

It's perfectly legible.
Didn't you do hours of tedious joined up writing at school OP?

malmi · 27/07/2019 22:55

Can't you read? It's not a code

notso · 27/07/2019 22:56

...an old fashioned way of writing letters

Old fashioned! I'm far too young to have anything from my childhood labelled as old fashioned.

UndertheCedartree · 27/07/2019 22:56

Looks pretty clear to me just in cursive writing - don't think there is any hidden agenda!!

Likethebattle · 27/07/2019 23:02

I can read cursive but then handwriting is a bit messy which means it’s a bit more difficult.

malmi · 27/07/2019 23:05

It's written very neatly and not even joined to, to make it clearer. It's just not how we are taught to write our letters here.

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 27/07/2019 23:08

Old fashioned messy??? bloody hell i want to see your imacuate wrinting if you think thats messy and i'm in my 30s and its just hand writing.

Admittedly used more by relatives that were educated in ireland so maybe its a more european cursive style but.

Very legable and not that old fashioned

dementedpixie · 27/07/2019 23:11

The z is the only really different one.

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 27/07/2019 23:15

How old are you op? Just in case it is old fashioned?

What were you struggling with the fact the 7 was crossed? (Defiiently european i confuse pretty much every on i know by crossing my 7s) the fact the 9 had a tail rather than a stick (although most fonts will render 9 like that) or the k looked like an R with a very long back (just cursive i thought tuat was still the way that it was writen in cursive) or that the q had no flick (again fonts generally don't have the flick) or the z ?

Anyonebut · 27/07/2019 23:17

For next time, most routers and devices can be connected vith the WPS button, no need to type passwords!

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 27/07/2019 23:22

Def old enough to have learned joined up writing!
And I actually cross my 7’s.
Think it was 3 joined up writing adults who were hot and tired and fed up.
And to be fair the first lovely Mumsnetters who posted all posted different guesses.
I think the beginning four letters - was it a u or a v, an h or a k is where we went wrong.
All WiFi’d up and happy now.
Although still hot Smile thanks for all help!
