AfterSchoolWorry · 27/07/2019 17:16

I'm sitting in the shade of the kitchen with a cold flannel on my head! 🔥🔥🔥

JustDanceAddict · 27/07/2019 17:16

Are you at the Arctic?

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 27/07/2019 17:18

Pipandmum · 27/07/2019 17:19

It’s lovely and mild, not steaming hot as Thursday! Sun is out and very pleasant.

Triglesoffy · 27/07/2019 17:19

Ha ha, I was thinking that OP - I’ve got so used to the bear that I’m sitting here with thick socks on! Might light the fire later.

Triglesoffy · 27/07/2019 17:20

Got used to the heat.

Not bear.

Rystall · 27/07/2019 17:20

@Triglesoffy
The bear??? Pray tell .......

Triglesoffy · 27/07/2019 17:26

It’s the Bear of Fierce Heat. That’s why it’s so grisly.

goodwinter · 27/07/2019 17:26

I've got a blanket over my legs, and I'm normally always fine with cold! It's 16c here, guess it just feels cold after the horrendous heat we've had this week. YANBU

goodwinter · 27/07/2019 17:27

Having said that, putting the heating on feels slightly dramatic ;)

Lizzielocket · 27/07/2019 17:28

I’m on the south coast, it’s still very humid and hot here. Where are you?

MsJRMEsq · 27/07/2019 17:31

Wales

OP posts:
Screamanger · 27/07/2019 17:32

We had frost warnings in Northern Maine last night

IamMummyhearmeROAR · 27/07/2019 17:34

Put a jumper on.

user1493494961 · 27/07/2019 17:35

It's not that cold, put a cardi on.

Bourbonbiccy · 27/07/2019 17:36

YANBU, if you're cold, you're cold, simple as that. What temp is it in your house ?

I am sitting in my vest top with my windows open as it is still muggy here.

GruciusMalfoy · 27/07/2019 17:39

What temperature is it in your house?

It's a lot cooler outside here today, 16 degrees, it feels much fresher than yesterday! Lovely.

pigsDOfly · 27/07/2019 17:44

I'm the first person to need the heating on when it gets the least bit chilly, but I can't believe it can be that cold anywhere in the UK at the moment. Just put a couple of jumps on if you're that cold OP.

It's about 8 degrees cooler here than it was on Thursday and it's still not even vaguely cold. And it's been raining heavily almost non stop since Thursday night.

Managed to get the dog out for a walk this afternoon and needed my wellies but definitely don't need the heating on.

ravenshope · 27/07/2019 17:48

I'm in Wales too, and I did put the electric blanket on earlier when having a kip...

wowfudge · 27/07/2019 17:50

Have spent all afternoon in a field at a village fete. Weather was perfect and the breeze meant it wasn't sweltering. No way would we want the heating on.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 27/07/2019 17:53

South Wales here.
Just finished a very warm shift at work.
I can only assume you’re in a different part of Wales to me.
If you already have several layers on, have had a hot bath, hot drink etc and are still cold, then YANBU to put the heating on.

Pimmsypimms · 27/07/2019 18:14

We've got the heating on!!! Currently on holiday in a caravan park in Filey....brrrrrrr.

goodwinter · 27/07/2019 18:15

It's about 8 degrees cooler here than it was on Thursday and it's still not even vaguely cold.

Where I am it's 17 degrees colder - it went from 33 to 16. So I get it!

But yes OP, layer up.

Heratnumber7 · 27/07/2019 18:15

Where in Wales? I'm in Glamorgan and it's lovely and warm.
